What students say about Shoolini University

Likes

  • The course curriculum is very good because the syllabus in pharmacy is provided by PCI.
  • You receive the perfect exposure that you need, which will make you confident in your field.
  • They provide opportunities to students to get placements in the best companies, but it also depends on the students performance and study during their course.
  • Shoolini University is a great place to learn and explore. In terms of academics and infrastructure, everything is up to the mark.
  • The campus is located in Himachal Pradesh, which is one of the most beautiful states in our country.
  • I do not have any idea as I was a day scholar, but as far as I know, the food in the hostel was good.
  • Management is awesome. I love it. I experienced and learned a lot. It was an awesome experience and life.

Dislike

  • No, my overall college experience is very, very bad. I dont want to take admission in a private university in Himachal Pradesh. I will try to do something at Delhi University or a central university in Himachal Pradesh.
  • No, I havent availed any internships. Placements are not very good for our course because students from other courses also compete for them. For pharmacy, as we are not masters of a particular field, we dont often get placements.
  • The college provides scholarships to students who are not able to pay their fees themselves.
  • Hostels are too expensive, and the meal quality, food, and menu are pathetic—truly the worst considering the cost of the hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course food technology because I found it interesting and a not-so-common field for students. I wanted to learn more about the science behind the food. The faculty here is really kind and helpful. They are well qualified to teach all those subjects and their methods of teaching are also understandable. We have 2- midterm exams and the end-term exams which are quite normal to pass as the question are all from the study material of teachers.

Remarks:

The admission process was good, every faculty member helped me through that. Eligibility for my course was 65%+ in 12th standard and the scholarship was also there for higher marks. I found out about this University on social media. There are some benefits for the reservation category also.

Placement Experience:

The interviews take place after the 6th semester as per my knowledge. Most of the seniors I knew got jobs last semester so I think the placement percentage is also good. I would also go for a campus placement after my degree. If not I would go for further studies.

Remarks:

The admission process was actually pretty easy. I just filled in a query on their official site and got a call from them after some time. Once I filled out the application form on their website only, I was told the date for my entrance test and interview. The test was really easy consisting of mostly general aptitude questions. The interview took place over a call in which they asked some questions from my 12th syllabus. That was pretty easy as well. And just like that, I received an email stating that I'd been accepted into Shoolini University.
