University of Jammu Admission Process 2023

Students wishing to get admission in any course at Jammu University, must visit the official website for online admission. They should secure a qualified score in JUET. The steps below are showing how to apply for Jammu University:

Applicants should visit the official website of University of Jammu and register themselves for JUET.
After completing the registration process, students need to login and fill the application form and pay the application fee through challan at the nearby branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. to collect the JUET application form.
The JUET registration fee is INR 700 for General category, INR 600 for SC/ST categories.
Download the duly filled Application Form and send it to the Department of Education, University of Jammu with requisite documents.
Authorities will check the form and prepare the merit list which can be checked through online on the website.
Shortlisted candidates are advised to visit the admission committee at the time of JUET counselling.

The University of Jammu has a placement cell whose preliminary goal is to simplify the placement and summer internship programs for the students. Within a short span of time the cell has grown linkages with several corporate organisations. It has builded up a bridge between the gap of industry and academia. University of Jammu Scholarship

Postgraduate Scholarship: There are two scholarships which are Merit Scholarship which holds prize INR 200 per month for the students of 1st & 2nd semesters. Another is Merit-cum-Means Scholarship which has INR 200 per month for the students of 3rd & 4th semesters.
Merit & Merit-cum-Means Scholarship in Diploma Course: This scholarship also includes two aids in the Diploma Courses, one of Merit & other of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship each of INR 200 per month.
Scholarship in LLB: This scholarship also comprises two scholarships, Merit Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. Each of the values consist of INR 200 per month. This scholarship will be awarded to the LL.B. students.
Research Scholarship: There are two scholarships which are Research Scholarship and Contingent Grant in Science & Humanities subjects. The Research Scholarship is worth INR 5000 per annum and Contingent Grant in Science values INR 1500 INR & Humanities values INR 1000 per annum.

Library: The Institute Library consists of around a total number of 4,66,656 books, 276 periodicals, magazines & projects. The facilities of printing & xeroxing are also available for the candidates. There is a seating facility for 500 readers at a time.
Internet Facility: The university has 24*7 internet facility and this internet facility can be availed by the students, faculty members & staff.
Sports: The University of Jammu has excellent sports facilities. The university has an enormous playground, a tennis court, a football ground and a volleyball court. There is a Yoga centre too where practical & theory both classes are conducted.
Hotel: The hostels of the university are very neat & clean and possess all the required amenities for making the living recreational. There are 5 hostels there for boys and two for girls. Admission:

eligibility: 12th or Diploma +Entrance test which is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations ( JKBOPEE). Reservation Categories are available like -OBC, SC, ST, etc. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream course, The faculty is good. They have a good bond with students. Faculty is Qualified like M.Tech, P.hd, etc. Exams are very tough. You have to work very hard to pass the exams, assignments, practicals, etc.

College - step to the society

The application process is online mode. Application for new admissions starts in mid-September after the result of the 12th standard. Applications are easily available on the college website along with the necessary information about the college premises. There is a regular update on the information for the students. Students are admitted through the merit of their performance in the previous board exam. After the process, the seats are allocated to the students with their preferences for courses. Reservation benefits are also given to the students who have applied in their application and are given to them. Also, the necessary information is available on the notice board in the premises. Although the college opening and class details are shared via e-mail and messaging. Automatic deletion of student seats if the admission fess is not paid within 3 days after the admission process should be changed.

I have chosen this course because I really enjoy solving maths problems and performing chemistry practicals. Also, the students aside from me are really helpful and kind. They are always seen gaining knowledge in or outside the class. Teachers are also well-known and easily deliver their message to the students. Teachers also give moral as well as curricular knowledge to the students. All the teachers are well qualified from famous institutes. Their teaching methods are easy to understand and grasping the meaning of their word is also easier due to their mode of communication and understanding between the teachers and students. The course is divided into 6 semesters. Each semester has five units and two exams Minor exams and Major exams. The minor exam is after the first month of the completion of the first unit. And the Major exam is taken after the completion of all five units. The whole syllabus is covered in the exams. Any student who has studied the whole syllabus can achieve a full score.

The admission process need to be improved because students have to wait for their counselling after all this process the college administration thinks if to take the eligible student to their college or not

I have chosen the B Com Bachelor of commerce course for three years after which I a get a graduate degree Faculty members are enough for the students in every subject to have their own professional teacher. Teachers are highly qualified in their subjects and teachings. Exams were after every six months with strict checking

Life At Campus

The admission process was fine but very late as expected, Kashmir university starts the admission process in August which was very late to start the session. The eligibility was fine for students the merit list was also fine. It was an online process and all the forms were submitted online and then went to the selected college for further document verification and fees were also online submitted. Yes, The improvement should be made because late admission impacts our study as we get lesser time for ist sem.

I choose this course because I had a hold on science. Faculty is the good Well maintained infrastructure is also good. The student Ratio is about 31:1. All faculty members are well-educated having great teaching experience. They are b. Ed Msc Ph.D. holders. They teach us in a gentle way and make students understand easily. Our terms didn't start.

Good college

Eligibility of course: Candidate should be 12th pass from any board. is Eligible for this course. if anyone comes from an arts background they also can take this course. the application form is available online as well as offline mode. the candidate should apply for the form on their college website and visit campus to take admission. there is no long process for admission. the benefits of Reservation are the candidate is free from the long admission process. and enjoy the college view and greenery in their environment . all the facilities available hostels as well as PG. the improvement I want to see is please provide 1-week of demo classes before the admissions it is useful for all the candidates.

I choose this course because I interested in computers since when I am in the 8th class. I scored high marks in school in computer subjects. then I realized I choose this course in college. and I perform well in this course. because if anyone goes to the computer field and is interested in computers they should take this course. the faculty is 35:1 in my class. the good teachers teach every subject very well I understand properly and the good staff of the college helps every student with their dought sessions and practice more questions. good teachers and yeah there is a total of 14 teachers in my management and 13 for other management. but teachers are well polite and disciplined. the exams are held after 6 months there is a 3-year course with 6 semesters so every year there is 2 semester so the exam is held after 6 months and the second exam is held after six months. the exam must be not difficult but moderate-level questions.
