Central University of Karnataka has almost 27 academic departments, 3 multi-disciplinary centres and around 10 schools of excellence. Under the UG domain, the University conducts regular courses including regular B.Sc., 3 specialisations in B.Sc. Honours, 2 specialisations each in BA and B.Tech programme, B.Ed. and BBA course.

Central University of Karnataka came into existence in the year 2009 and offers different courses in multiple streams including science, commerce, law, education, arts and management. Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Central University of Jharkhand must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). It is mandatory to choose 1 language in the section 1A, and Domain-specific subjects in the section -II as mentioned in the eligibility criteria for respective course. Central University of Karnataka provides various kinds of scholarship schemes and financial aids on merit cum need basis to eligible students.

  • Meritorious students are awarded fellowships, scholarships, studentship, medals and prizes
  • Half and full free ships of tuition fee will be awarded per department as per the regulations of the University

Ques. Does the college provides for hostel accommodation for outstation candidates?

Ans. Yes, CUK has provisions for separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished within the campus. The capacity is limited hence accommodation is based on first cum first serve basis. Facilities like mess, Wi-Fi, security, water and electricity is made available to the hostel inmates. The hostel fee exclusive of mess per semester is INR 2500.
