Christ University has an excellent placement record for over 20 years. Every year around 150 organizations from different sectors visit the campus. There is a continuous increase in the number of organizations every year. The placement cell not only provides the placement opportunity but also grooms the students for the corporate world.

Recently, the institute started its 2022 placement drive. 674 students from different courses were already placed till October 2021. According to the report, the highest CTC package stood at INR 20 LPA which was offered by Morphle Labs.

During the 2021 placement drive, Reckitt & Benckiser offered the highest CTC of INR 15.75 LPA to the MBA students. 382 recruiters participated & 2614 students from different courses were placed.

Our campus offers placements in very reputed companies such as the big 4's like EY Goldman Sachs and also in other companies like de shaw the placement Percentage is almost 100% except for the students who opt for higher studies

Internships Opportunities:

Companies in the big 4 and other companies come for internships at Christ University. They have certain tests and interview criteria for the selection of students. The eligibility criteria is I guess above a 3.5 GPA

The placements are not satisfactory, there are good companies making offers but the students are made to accept the offer and given no choice by the placement office. From the 3rd year, you become eligible for placement, I would say those are not so great for BBA students but yes mba is also fine, it more depends on you also. yes, college does bring the company in bulk, those are okay kinds.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year. In between that internships can also be done. The university has a long history of successful placements. Around 150 groups from different fields approach the university. There is also continuous change in the rate of placements every year. More than 85% of the students get placed every year I am opting for going for higher education abroad after completing the degree.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships can be availed through caps. There are also placement cells and incubation centers. Summer internship programs are also available in a variety of fields such as photography, video editing, graphic design, etc.

A comprehensive guide for admission in Department of Commerce, Christ University

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements at the start of their final year and the companies start visiting one after the other. Mostly by the end of the penultimate semester, half of the candidates who have applied are placed and the remaining placements happen in the final semester. The college even provides opportunities to students who are not placed even after graduation. The number of companies visiting for placements is north of 50 and almost 1000+ offers were made in the department of commerce alone. The highest package hovered around 15 LPA and the average would be around 5.5 LPA. The prominent companies to take the graduates are Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, EY, Bain, BCG, McKinsey, ICICI Bank, Tresvista, Standard Chartered Bank, South Indian Bank, etc. 80% of the students who have applied get placed during the placement process. My plans are to higher studies after the degree.

LLM- Christ School of Law

Placement Experience:

The placement for LLM compared to that of LLB is less. Placements are provided by various MNCs and law firms. There is also a PhD where we get to do the research while the college provides the students with a decent amount of stipend.

Internships Opportunities:

For LLM there are no internships as such provided by the college since the course is for a period of 1 year. Thus there is no compulsion to undergo an internship and also the time is limited because the whole specialisation is to be done in a year.

Christ through the lens of a Christite

Placement Experience:

The companies visit the office in the final year. For Media and Communication Studies program, the companies come mostly for the students of Advertising and Corporate Communication (Specialization 2) rather than Multimedia Journalism (Specialization 1). However, all the students are free to sit for all the companies. Some good brands come up for placements and take students every year. However, the good part is that even if you don't get an opportunity from the campus placement, you will always get an edge because of the university name when you apply to any of the companies. That's especially when you're applying in Karnataka or the Southern region.

Internships Opportunities:

We have internships after the end of each semester. One needs to find Internships on their own. However, if someone is not able to find it on their own, the university helps the students to get one. So, while they want us to help ourselves, they don't abandon us.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements right from the start of their 3rd year. I would say placements are decent for my course. The average CTC is 6 lakhs, basic is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. For a newly established college like this, it's decent enough.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is mandatory in our course. Collage assists you in choosing an internship but we must grab the opportunity. The college has an Industry incubation and innovation cell, where projects are taken up from MSMEs. Students can work on problems and build ideas on them.
