At the PG level, Mangalore University offers MCA, M.Lib.Sc, M.Com, MSW, M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. courses.
M.Com applicants must have a B.Com, BBA, BBM degree with at least 45% marks. Candidates who hold BCA, B.Sc in CS, Mathematics, Business Statistics, Business Mathematics with minimum 50% marks are eligible to join MCA. Students who have completed B.Lib.Sc. or B.Sc in relevant discipline with not less than 45% marks are eligible to join M.Lib.Sc.

- Not more than 2 seats are reserved in each program for the students of any other university.
- A maximum of 5 seats in each program is reserved for overseas students.
- 1 seat in each program is reserved for the ward of defense personnel, one for physically handicapped, one for NSS, NCC, and Sportsperson, one seat for the children of Kashmiri Migrants.
