Manipal University offers a full-time Bachelor in Audiology & Speech-language Pathology, which lasts for a duration of 4 years inclusive of an internship and is divided into 6 semesters.

  • Passed class 12th examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and English with Biology / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics/ Psychology from a university recognized board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in PCM / PCB.

Students belonging to A level boards applying for admission at Manipal University for BASLP course must fulfill the given below eligibility criteria:

  • ‘A’ level in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics / Psychology and ‘AS’ level in English.
  • Two Science subjects in the ‘A’ Levels and 5 Passes in the IGCSE / GCSE including English and third Science subject, out of PCMB.
  • The minimum requirement is an average of ‘D’ grade in PCM / PCB

Students belonging to IB boards applying for admission at Manipal University for BASLP course must fulfill the given below eligibility criteria:

  • IB Diploma or IB Certificate with an average of 4 points in PCB / PCM with an overall minimum of 24 points.
  • Minimum two Science subjects in HL.
  • Third Science subject and English can be either HL or SL.

Manipal University BASLP Course Details

  • This is a 4-year long program, out of which 3 years are divided into 6 semesters and 1 year is for a compulsory internship. The odd semester begins in September and ends in January, whereas the even semester is from February to June.
  • The university follows a semester-based scheme for the course, so the student needs to pass two sessional exams during the academic session.
  • Students need to complete 30 courses to obtain their degree.
  • Students are evaluated based on their clinical practicum and clinical performance.
