Candidate should have passed Any degree of this University OR of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.

Note: 

Preference will be given to the candidates who have studied Linguistics, Languages and cognate subjects such as Anthropology, Folklore, History, Geography, Philosophy, Socialogy, Psychology, Ancient History and Archaeology, Speech and Hearing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, Jainology and Prakrit, South Indian Studies and Post graduate Diploma in Linguistics.
