Ques. Is there any age limit for pursuing a BA LLB 5-year course in NLSIU, Bangalore?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 28 Sept 21

Ans. After doing some research online, I found out that there is no age limit in getting admission to this course. There are two options to pursue the course: BA LLB (5-year course) LLB (3-year course) For a three-year course, the minimum eligibility is 45 to 60%. For a five-year course, the minimum eligibility is 45% to 60% for the general category and 40 % for the reserved categories.  Candidates will be selected based on their merit. This will include the marks obtained in the CLAT exam.Read more

Ques. How difficult is the MBL offered by NLSIU?

● Top Answer By Sapna Malik on 25 Oct 21

Ans. The Masters in Business Law (MBL) course from NLSIU is not difficult but the course work is more rigorous than LLB coursework.  Law as a subject in itself requires a thorough readership and effort to get into every detail. It offers 10 subjects. Students with a working background could find it difficult to tackle both sides. The questions asked in the exams are straightforward compared to the question papers that are set for the regular course students. Most of the students who fail in the examination are because they are working so taking out time from their schedules to study for exams becomes hectic. However, if you are interested in doing the course then it is highly recommended.Read more

Ques. What is the scope and benefit of the Masters in Business Laws (MBL) course from NLSIU?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 25 Oct 21

Ans. Masters in Business Law (MBL) from NLSIU is not UGC recognized. If you are an average student willing to pursue this, it is suggested that you look for other options. This is because passing is a tiring task here., it will gradually become harder to drag it for the remaining years. You also have to pay an extension fee of INR 5000 every year. There are better courses available. Do some market research and then apply, do not get excited with just the brand name NLSIU. This course also has no market value. Companies prefer regular courses or professional courses.Read more

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of my course is about 1.26 Lakh per year. This amount is quite expensive but this college provides the best facilities to its students. It also provides educational loan facilities to those students who are not capable to pay the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of this college is well-organized and structured as per the requirement of the students. It provides deep knowledge of the course to the students with the aim to make them the best.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is feasible. I have paid Rs. 88,333 fees. As the course is of three years the total fee is Rs. 2,64,000. It is not difficult to pay the fees. PhD students also get a stipend. Other courses in this university are also affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good. All the necessary things are available in the course. The course is mostly related to public policy. It is very interesting to study. The exam is taken by the university after each semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure if ba llb is around 12 lakhs for 5 years which is definitely a high amount but it can be afforded as the course is a popular one and has a very good future. Also, the institution provides with world class education.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Ba llb is a professional course which has the duration of 5 years and follows semester system. The course focuses both on arts and law including criminal and civil in an interactive fashion. The days are filled with lots of learning and exams are a little tiring.
