Calicut University ranking 2022 has been released by top ranking agencies like NIRF, QS University ranking, Outlook etc. In the country-wide ranking, the University of Calicut ranks 69th among the top 100 universities as per the recently released NIRF 2022 data. However, the university witnessed a drop of 9 ranks from its previous year NIRF 2021 ranking of 60.    

Calicut University is the largest University in Kerala, with more than 25 departments of postgraduate studies and research. It dates back to the year 1968 and holds the privilege of being the second oldest university to be established in the state. It admits approximately 2.75 lakh students every year.

Calicut University has also been ranked under the 401-450 band by the QS Asia University Ranking 2022. It also made an appearance in the Outlook I-CARE rankings 2021 at the 40th position, with a score of 78.95, narrowly preceded by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. As per the recently released NIRF 2022 listing, the University of Calicut has obtained the 69th rank, slipping down from its 60th in 2021.
