Latest Update: IIM Indore has released the provisional shortlist of PI for the PGP & PGP HRM batch of 2024-26.

IIM Indore admission into the MBA program is based on the CAT exam, followed by a Personal Interview. IIM Indore cut-off for the MBA program is overall 90 percentile and sectional is 80 percentile. IIM Indore MBA fee is INR 21,17,158. IIM Indore Placements 2023 has been concluded with an average CTC of INR 30.21 LPA and the highest CTC of INR 1.14 CPA. Some of the top recruiters who offered placements to PGP students were Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Barclays, Bank of America, Infosys, IBM, etc.

IM Indore offers admission to around 600 candidates, at its Indore and Mumbai campuses. A good number of 500+ candidates are offered admission at IIM Indore at its Indore campus, 75 students at IIM Indore-Mumbai campus. The proposed Intake is as under:

IIM Indore MBA Eligibility

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for Category Students)
• The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must include a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. 
• Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
• Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the institution/University certifying that they are currently in the final year/ awaiting final results and have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.
• Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a course completion certificate issued on or before June 30 of the admission year

IIM Indore shortlists only those candidates who qualify CAT exam and meet the overall cutoff. The CAT consists of three sections namely Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension(VARC) & Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR).

IIM Indore MBA placements are conducted with the IPM students as the IPM students undergo the same curriculum as the PGP students in their 4th and 5th year. IIM Indore MBA Admission Criteria 2024

The selection criteria for MBA program is mentioned in detail below:

Stage 1

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and secure the minimum sectional and overall percentile required for admissions. The cutoff marks required varies for students of different categories. Only those candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to go further in the second stage. 

Stage 2

• Candidates satisfying the above mentioned requirements of Stage- I will be eligible for further shortlisting for the PI round. 
• Further, a composite score will be prepared using 10th Scores, 12th Scores, CAT 2023 Overall Score and Diversity Factor (DF) 

Stage 3

• Candidates satisfying all the mentioned criteria in stage- II will only be eligible for final selection. 
• A final composite score will be made and provisional admission offers will be provided to the prospective applicants. 
• A final merit list will be declared on the official website of IIM Indore.

Note: Written Ability Test is removed from the selection due to ongoing pandemic and the final selection will be done based on the remaining components of the Final Composite Score Computation.

IIM Indore MBA Admission Criteria for International Students

• International students are offered admission in the MBA program based on GMAT score followed by PI.
• The interviews will be conducted in Delhi and Mumbai only. 
• The aspirants satisfying the parameters defined for the Interview round will be eligible for final selection.
• A final composite score will be made based on the following components:

• The selection will be based on the Final Composite Score and candidates will be sent the provisional admission offers.

1. The candidates are required to visit the official website of CAT and register.
2. After successful CAT Registration, proceed to fill all the necessary details
3. While applying for the B-schools and relevant courses, candidates must select IIM Indore and its MBA programme.
4. Enter the OTP and submit the application form
5. A message will be received containing the User ID and Password for subsequent login.
6. The candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria will be called for further selection procedure.
7. A PI round will be conducted to access the candidates for final selection.
8. The candidates will be notified about the final selection through a merit list declared on the official website and regret letters will be issued to the other aspirants.
