Course Details

National Law Institute University (NLIU) is a law school and centre for research located in Bhopal, India. It was established in 1997. It is one of the first three law schools established under the national law system. University is the member of AIU.

NLIU provides the following course under PG level in MCLIS (Masters of Cyber Law and Information Security). To apply for the same, the candidates must appear for an entrance test conducted by the university.

NLIU MCLIS Eligibility Criteria

MCLIS aspirants must possess the following qualifications to be eligible for admission:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the Undergraduate examinations.
  • Must qualify in the entrance exam conducted by NLIU. 

Candidates awaiting their final results are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce the mark sheet at the time of Personal Interview/Admission.

NLIU MCLIS Admission Process

Admission shall be done through the Entrance Test conducted by NLIU, Bhopal.

Exam Syllabus-

Aptitude Test General Awareness English (Basic Proficiency) Basics of Computer

The candidate shall not be allowed to carry/possess/use any electronic gadgets such as calculators, mobile phones, watches with Bluetooth facility, etc. during the exam. S/he will be permitted to carry only the Admit Card and Blue Ball Point Pen.

Candidates to the MCLIS course shall be admitted strictly according to the merit of the Entrance Test.

How to Apply?

The candidate can obtain the application form from the university’s official website or from the registrar’s office.

  • The candidate must print the application form.
  • Paste a passport size photograph.
  • Fill in the personal details such as- Name, Phone number, Parent’s name, address, etc
  • Followed by the educational qualifications.
  • The candidate must attach the following necessary documents along with the application form:
    • 10th class certificate
    • 12th class certificate
    • Undergraduate certificate
    • Caste certificate
    • PWD category certificate
  • The filled-in application along with the fees and the necessary enclosures should be sent to the below-mentioned address: “Registrar, National Law Institute University, Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal-462044 (M.P.)”
  • Filled application forms are to be submitted in person or through ‘Speed-Post’ Only.

Application Feeof INR 1000/- (500/- for SC/ST) is to be paid in cash or through DD of any nationalized bank drawn in favor of ‘Director, National Law Institute University, Bhopal’, payable at Bhopal.
