NMIMS Mumbai UG Eligibility

The basic eligibility criteria for admission in UG programs is 10+2 from a recognized board mentioned below are courses-wise eligibility criteria. 

• B.Arch: 10+2 with Maths and English as compulsory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate
• B.Com (Hons.): 10+2 as one of the compulsory subjects and minimum 60% marks.
• B.Sc: 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate
• B.Sc (Hons) - Mathematics: 10+2 with 75% aggregate marks with Mathematics. Also, the Candidates must be not above 25 years of age. 
• B.Sc+M.Sc - Biomedical Sciences: 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate with PCB
• B.Pharm: 10+2 with PCM/B with English as one of the main subjects with 45% marks in aggregate.
• B.Pharm (Lateral): Diploma in Pharmacy with 60% marks in aggregate.

NMIMS Mumbai UG Selection Criteria

NMIMS Mumbai B.Arch Admission is based on a valid score in NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA). Admission to BBA, B.Sc (Economics/ Finance), B.Des, and B.Com (Hons.) is granted on the basis of NMIMS-NPAT score. The admission to B.Pharm. is based on the score in MHT CET followed by counseling. Merit in the last qualifying examination is the minimum criteria to secure admission in B.Pharm (Lateral) and other programs. NMIMS Mumbai BA-LL.B & BBA-LLB Admission is done through NMIMS LAT or CLAT or LSAT.

NMIMS Mumbai MBA Eligibility

• MBA- General, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Family business, social entrepreneurship: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks.
• MBA-  Pharmaceutical Management: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Science, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc, B.Tech, B.E with minimum 50% marks. Or else Candidates with BE/ B.Tech in Biotech/ Biomedical are also eligible to apply
• MBA- Law: LL.B degree holders are eligible to apply. Or else CA/ ICWA/ CS. Those candidates who have completed their Graduation through part-time/ correspondence/ Distance modes are also eligible to apply. 
• PGDM- Real Estate construction and Management: Bachelor’s degree
• Executive MBA (EMBA): Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of work experience in relevant fields. 
• Part-Time MBA: Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of work experience in relevant fields. 
• Integrated MBA: 10+2 with 70% marks in aggregate. Also, candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply. 
• Integrated B.Pharm+MBA: 10+2 with PCB
• M. Pharm and M.Pharm + MBA: 10+2 (PCB), Diploma, and B.Pharm degree with 55% marks in aggregate

NMIMS Mumbai MBA Selection Criteria

The final admission in the Regular, Part-time, and Executive MBA program is based on the score in NMAT/ GMAT or NMAT by GMAC followed by an interview. Whereas admissions to Integrated MBA (Family Business) is offered on the basis of merit only. The PGDM admissions are done on the basis of assessment tests and interviews and Integrated B.Pharm + MBA admissions are done on the basis of NMIMS-CET Scores. 

Note: For 2022 MBA admission, NMIMS will only consider first round score while shortlisting for CD-PI round. Candidates who will qualify the NMAT exam on reapplication basis will not be eligible for part 2 selection criteria.

• Click on Register Button on the top right corner of the page.
• Provide the required details for registration like email and a valid mobile number.
• Select the country for the test, enter Captcha and create an account.

NMIMS Mumbai offers admission to Ph.D. programs in different specializations as mentioned below : 

NMIMS Mumbai Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

The following is the eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. program in different streams:-

• Engineering: M.Tech in the relevant discipline with 55% marks
• Management: MBA or Master’s degree in Management in the relevant discipline with 55% marks
• Pharma Sciences: Master’s degree in Pharmacy with at least 55% marks in aggregate
• Pharma Sciences (Industry Sponsored): Master’s degree in Pharmacy with at least 55% marks in aggregate with at least two years of work experience in the relevant discipline. 
• Biological Science: Bachelor of Science in any branch of Chemical Sciences or Biochemistry/Bachelor of Pharmacy from any recognized university/institute with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
• Chemistry: M.Sc in Chemistry
• Chemistry (For Professionals): M.Sc in Chemistry or Chemical Science or M.Pharm with 55% marks in aggregate. M.Sc in M.Phil in Chemistry with 55% marks in aggregate. Full-time experience as a teacher is mandatory. Or else A candidate who is working in National Laboratories/Institutes/Government/Private Organization nominated/sponsored by the respective employer with a minimum of one year experience. 
• Law: LL.M degree with 55% marks

NMIMS Mumbai PhD Selection criteria

The final admission is granted on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Aptitude Test, Specific Domain Test, and statement of purpose. 

Admission is also offered to Professionals and Industry Sponsored candidates. Apart from the university-based test CSIR NET/ GATE/ GPAT or SET passed candidates can also apply.

NMIMS Mumbai Diploma Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate, whereas for D.Pharm 10+2 with PCM/B with English as a compulsory subject. 

NMIMS Mumbai Diploma Selection Criteria

The final admission to the Diploma and PG Diploma program is granted on the basis of performance in the Essay test and interview and Written Test conducted by NMIMS respectively. Merit in the last qualifying examination is the minimum criteria to secure admission in D.Pharm course. 

Seat Distribution

The seat intake for the NMIMS Admission Diploma program is 30 and for D Pharm. It is 60.

NMIMS Mumbai offers Distance Education programs under the School of Continuing Education. It offers Diploma and PG Diploma across various streams like Business management, human resource management, finance management, international trade management, marketing management and supply chain management 

NMIMS Mumbai Distance Course Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. 

NMIMS Mumbai Distance Course Selection Criteria

Admission is done on the basis of score in the last qualifying examination followed by verification of documents at the time of final admission.

NMIMS University Distance Education Registration Process

The registration form can be filled online by following the offline submission at the enrollment center. Follow the given steps to apply for Distance Diploma and PG Diploma programs:

1. Fill the application form by visiting the official website.
2. Pay the application fee of INR 1200 by Credit/ Debit card or Net-Banking or through DD drawn in favor of ‘SVKM’s NMIMS payable at Mumbai’.
3. Visit the enrollment partner with the relevant documents.
4. Authorized enrollment partners will verify and upload them at the same time.

User Facts:

• Lateral admission will not be offered to the First year of the program.
• Students who have completed a Diploma from the Department of Continuing Education can apply directly for admission to the Second semester of the PG Diploma program.
• Students of the PG Diploma program who take an exit from the program after completing the First-year can apply directly for the third semester of the new program under Lateral Admissions.
• Lateral entrants are required to pay an additional registration fee of INR 1200.

NMIMS Mumbai offers M.Arch, M.Sc, M. Pharm and LL.M programs in various streams at PG level as mentioned below 

NMIMS Mumbai PG Eligibility Criteria

• M.Arch: B.Arch with minimum 55% marks
• M.Sc: B.Sc with 50% marks in relevant discipline. 
• M.Sc+Ph.D: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks. 
• LLM: LL.B degree with 50% marks in aggregate. Those who have completed Graduation through part-time or distance education mode are also eligible to apply
• MPT: Minimum 50% marks in BPT along with internship of at least six months

NMIMS Mumbai PG Selection criteria

The final admissions to the M.Pharm, Integrated M.Pharm + MBA, and MPT program is based on NMIMS-CET exam score and performance in the specific entrance test conducted by the university. 

Admission to M.Sc and LL.M programs is granted on the basis of performance in the written test followed by an interview. 

M.Arch admission is done on the basis of merit. 

For Integrated M.Sc+Ph.D. courses in Biological Science and Chemistry, students have to qualify in the Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the university.

Exam Pattern for M.Pharm+MBA Program
