            Remarks :

My department of food technology comes under the university and hence I may get acces to various courses. Plus this university is situated in kolhapur. This is the best place to be in as a human being. This is the best place which provides you the environment where you can bounce back with a lot of impulse and drive. Yes the quality of education is not worth the money we put. Anyways wherever we go, difficulties do come, so dealing and overcoming them is i. Our hands. No one is responsible for us even after we are the ones paying for it. We are all on our own. But if you're willing to become a changemaker and excel in your foeld then kolhapur is the best place to be in. This place will make you self restrospect and help you keep from the rat race and maintain your uniqueness to become a leader and of some worth to the country, people and parents.

            Admission :

I got admission over my marks criteria. Admission is open from month of June. This institution has highest value for your degree in Maharashtra state which enchances you towards a better job. As it doesn't accept any of the donations and always prefer the marks criteria this makes the college quiet different from others.

Ques. What are the best things for Shivaji University students to do on weekends?

            ● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 21 Oct 21

Ans. Some of my friends studied at Shivaji University, so let me share their experiences, which might give you some options on what to do on the weekends. If you prefer spending time in and around the campus, late at night the student union organizes a weekly event that includes different themes from karaoke, art and crafts, games, and much more. You can also take part in sports events both by watching or participating in them. There are many temples to visit like the Mahalaxmi temple and Jyotiba temple situated on hills.  You can also visit Panhala fort which is nearby Kolhapur. If you do not prefer outings on the weekends, you can stay at your hostel and work on your communication and personality development skills.  You can start by solving Aptitude, mathematical and logical questions.  If you get tired you can relax and watch movies, roam around with your roommates or friends.  Also, try practicing meditation or yoga to maintain your concentration and health. Therefore there are a lot of things you could do during the weekends, be it staying indoors or roaming outdoors, there is a scope to indulge in any extracurricular activities.Read more

Ques. What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at Shivaji University?

            ● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 21 Oct 21

Ans. One of my friends recently graduated from Shivaji University. According to him, it is quite different from other universities. Let me share the tips he provided which might help you in the beginning of your 1st year. First of all, try preparing for the university exam from your first day of college, if scoring good marks is important to you. There will be a lot of assignments given to you. Try completing them in the given time with proper precision. As this will be beneficial for your university exams. You must be accustomed to self-study as depending completely on the faculty members might lower your chances to score higher marks. Concentrate on the practicals as they will provide hands-on experience. Make sure you maintain a 75% attendance. Attendance also depends on your internal marks so prepare well. For theoretical questions try writing lengthy and informative answers, as this will fetch you good marks. Lastly, try maintaining good behavior by being punctual, attentive, and sincere. If you fail to behave properly it will affect your internal marks, which will overall affect your scorecard.Read more

Ques. What is the procedure to take a migration certificate from Shivaji University Kolhapur?

            ● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 04 Oct 21

Ans. Here is the procedure to take a migration certificate from Shivaji University in brief.  First, you need to take admission to any of the institutes. Then, you will have to download the migration certificate application form which is available on the official website of the university. You need to get a duplicate LC from the college and get a signature on the application form. You then need to submit all these to Shivaji University Kolhapur (Doorshikshan Kendra)along with the receipt of fee payment made to the institute that you are going to study in next. This is the way you can get your migration certificate. Make sure that you don’t miss out on the required documents such as duplicate LC, application form, fee receipt, and other documents if any.Read more

Ques. What will happen if I dont attend my semester two Shivaji University Exam?

            ● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 04 Oct 21

Ans. You would be marked A, i.e. Absent on your mark sheet in the paper that you were absent. If you were absent in all of the papers, it will simply appear on your marksheet as Absent and the final result will be declared as Fail. You will not be able to take admissions in the next year. If you were absent in only 1-2 papers and passed in all of the other papers, then you will get ATKT (Allow to Keep Term) which means that you will get admission in your next year. One more important thing to remember is that, for the absent paper, you will not get any Condole marks (grace marks given by the university to pass the exam) in the future. You will have to clear those subjects in the future. It’s best not to miss the exam.Read more

Ques. What is the quality of engineering colleges in Shivaji University?

            ● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 04 Oct 21

Ans. There are so many engineering colleges under Shivaji University. Not all of those colleges are good, however, there are 2-3 very good colleges. One of the best private engineering colleges under Shivaji University is Kolhapur Institute Of Technology, Kolhapur i.e KIT College, Kolhapur. When comparing the students of Shivaji University and other universities such as Pune University, the student of Shivaji University are more talented and good in academics. The reason behind this is the engineering curriculum. For each semester, you will have to work very hard. Each subject has more than 7-8 chapters. Each of these chapters has in-depth content and is compulsory to study. There are few optional chapters as well. There are about 5 subjects in each and every semester. There are 3 external viva and the final exam which carries 100 marks with a time duration of 3 hours. Apart from this, there are other tests, lots of submissions, projects, seminars, and other activities as well. In terms of the exam pattern and syllabus, there is a big difference between Shivaji University and other universities. The curriculum at Shivaji University attracts companies and most of the students get placed with nice packages. It is worth joining college under Shivaji University, it is well known across the country.Read more
