SRTMUN also has a sub-center in Latur which not only offers courses to pursue but also gives training and makes the students employment-ready. Another feature that sets apart the university is its prolific Distance Education program in both UG & PG levels in Arts, Commerce and Business Administration.

Each course offered at SRTMUN has its own eligibility criteria which need to be strictly followed. The PG courses offered in the university take about 2 years to complete and have a count of 10-60 seats depending upon the discipline and the course type.

The admission in the university is mostly on the basis of merit. Although, certain programs require the candidates to clear the entrance examination SRTMUN CET. Candidates can apply for the desired course by downloading the registration/admission form and submitting it to the concerned Schools. The entire SRTMUN admission procedure occurs in the month of June.

  • Admission to M.Sc program is through SRTMUN CET.
  • M.Phil admissions are based on merits obtained by the students in the university entrance exam.
  • The Ph.D. program admissions are made on PET (Ph.D. Entrance Exam) marks.
  • Applicants for the MBA program are required to appear for the CET exam conducted by the DTE.
  • The eligibility required for the MBA program as per DTE is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2+3 for the general category students, whereas, for the reserved category students it is 45% marks in 10+2+3.
  • Admissions to the M.Com program are merit-based.
  • For the MCA program, applicants need to appear for the Common Entrance Test.
  • B.Pharm and M.Pharm admissions are held as per the Common Admission Process by DTE. Applicants are required to apply for the programs through the official website of DTE.
  • Admission to M.Sc Physics is based on merits obtained by the students in the previous qualifying examination. There are seats reserved for the students applying for M.Sc (Physics).
  • The distribution of seats for M.Sc (Physics) includes 70% for the university applicants, 28% seats for the students from other Universities in Maharashtra, 2% seats for students from other states.
  • The international students are admitted in over and above quota with maximum seats available- 20%.

SRTMUN PG Admission 2020

SRTMUN offers a wide variety of PG courses under a number of Schools, both within the university campus as well as in the affiliated colleges. To apply to the PG program in SRTMUN the candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject, either from SRTMUN or from any recognized university. The candidate must also have studied the concerned subject at the qualifying examination as one of the optional subjects.

The admission to the PG courses will mostly be on the basis of merit only. It should also be considered that the aggregate of marks obtained in the three years of the Bachelor program will be considered for preparing the merit list. This is for those subjects where marks obtained in the optional subjects are not compulsory.

Admission to certain courses ( Bio-Technology, M.Ed., M.P.Ed.) will be on the basis of CET, details of which will be announced by the concerned Schools.

The university follows the government rules regarding the reservation. They give 70% of their intake capacity to students from SRTMU, Nanded. The rest of the 30% is for students from other universities.

At the time of admission, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee for the first semester as well as other fees for the entire academic year. This can be paid either in cash or in the form of a crossed Demand Draft. For more details, refer to the ‘Fee Structure’ in the information brochure.

For applying to the SRTMUN campus schools, the candidate must download the registration form from the official university website. The duly filled-in application/registration form must be submitted to the concerned Schools. In a single application form, the students can give preferences to the courses offered by a School. If selected, the students must pay the required fee and submit the relevant documents on time.

SRTMUN Ph.D Admission 2020

SRTMUN Ph.D. admissions are done through a university entrance examination, commonly known as SRTMUN PET (Ph.D. Entrance Examination). The entrance is usually conducted in the month of November (Tentative).

The university offers over 50 disciplines in the Ph.D. program, which are as distinct as they can be. The eligibility criterion is the same for each subject. The candidate must have a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with the minimum marks of 55% for all categories and 50% for SC/ ST.

The selection of the candidate will be based on the merit rank list of the SRTMUN PET Entrance Examination. A candidate needs to score a minimum of 50 marks (45 for SC/ ST) to be considered qualified. Only such candidates will be called for an interview before the Research Allocation Committee, who will appoint their Supervisor/Guide.

The university follows the reservation rules laid down by the Government of Maharashtra. As such about 60% of the seats will be filled by the qualified candidates of SRTMUN PET Examination and the other 30% by the qualified PET Exempted candidates.

The application process for the program is quite simple.

  • First, pay the Registration Fee, either online (NEFT/ RTGS) or directly at the university or its Sub-Centre Latur.
  • Apply only online at the university website – fill up the registration form.
  • Attach a recent passport size photo, signature, and proof of payment of fees.
  • Upload the completed form on time.

Under certain conditions, candidates can be exempted from the entrance examination. Such candidates need to send the hard copy of the application form and all the other documents to the Deputy Registrar of the university.

SRTMUN M.Phil Admission 2020

The admission procedure usually starts from the month of January and ends mid-March. To appear for the M.Phil entrance test the candidate must have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or ‘B’ grade at Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.

It should be noted that the admission is through the M.Phil entrance test conducted by the university and through the merit list and the reservation rules of the Government of Maharashtra.

The application process for the M.Phil entrance test requires the candidates to pay the registration fee and fill in the form online and submit it. The candidates will also have to take a hard copy of the form and submit it at the university along with all the other required documents.

SRTMUN PG Distance Education Admission 2020

SRTMUN provides great flexibility to its external students with its Distance Education program. The university has about 13 PG study centers and 41 undergraduate study centers. These study centers support the students by involving in all the processes of distance education. The study centers help in the admission procedure, examination, counseling, group discussion, library reading as well as in giving out the study materials. 

The university’s PG Distance Education program is centered on the degree. The candidate must at least be 18 years of age to be able to apply for the PG Distance Education. The candidate must also be a graduate in Humanities and or Social Sciences from any UGC and State recognized university. The aspirant can also be a graduate in Commerce, Science, B.B.A, Agriculture, etc. and must have studied two years of the concerned subject. The selection will be on the basis of merit.

To apply, the candidates can download the application form from the website. Or they could buy the Prospectus and admission form from the study centers. After confirming their eligibility, the candidates must submit the filled-in form along with the attested copies of the necessary documents and a DD of the required fees. The late fees facility is also provided by the university. All these admission processes will be conducted at the study centers.

  • Pay your PG-CET Registration fees through debit/ credit card (Master/ Visa/ Rupay) and Net banking/ UPI
  • Take print-out of application form for reference no need to submit at University.
  • Admit card will be given on student’s login.

      Admission :

      I got it in the college while giving exam. All the admissions IT Dia is entrance based and also I had to pass the 12 standard of Maharashtra State of secondary code of higher education

      Remarks :

      The main reason of choosing this college was the seas and the location. The fees asked by the college is very less when compared to other private colleges in Maharashtra and the college is not far away from my home and my travel expenses are also saved
