Yes. Rooms are not very spacious. But if you are from Mumbai, you ll not complain about it. One gets options of twin sharing, four sharing room and 6/8 sharing halls. We had common washrooms, well maintained and sufficient for everyone on floor. We could use machines for laundry once a week. Water was never and issue, we had windows for ventilation, rooms were well light and had enough extension points. Pgs around the college were 3 times costlier than hostel, but had lesser restrictions in terms of in-time and facilities such as ac.
Gender ratio is in favour of women and other sexes. We have gender neutral hostels for people who are gender fluid. We have annual sports events and sports team participate in other college's sports event. We have regular street plays, random flash mobs, poetry nights, shayari nights, quiz nights etc.
No as i am local i dont need a hostel or PG but some of my friends are staying in PG with a nominal price of 7000-8000 and if you are staying on sharing basis than it is 4000 rupees per month and that is quite low
Gender ratio is approx 4 girls and 6 boys in one hotel. Well talking about extracurricular we have some OJTs in different hotel that give us oppurtunity to learn about other hotel as well Talking about sprorts we have tournaments in hotels like badminton round cricket match etc
The campus is 100% residential and boys and girls have separate hostels inside the campus. In first year, the boys have to adjust in a fabricated hostel which becomes irresistible hot in summer. Besides, the all-time electricity and water facilities are available. Though the region is water scarce, that's why there's some water scarcity in the summer days. From second year onwards and for all the girls, the hostel facilities are very good. Four three storied large buildings are there for the hostels, with all state-of-the-art facilities.
The total 100 acres TISS Tuljapur campus is covered with lavish green. Actually, It's on a hill. The major advantage of this campus which I find most relevant is it's 5 km away from the nearest locality, hence it's completely calm, serene and pollution free campus with peacocks, deers roaming around the campus freely. Here, you can access well equipped library both offline and online. The library remains open from 9 am to 2 am (next day) and there are almost 180 seats in the library. A computer center is also there, where people who don't have any laptop can work there. There are almost 150 desktops with good internet connection. Many big separate playgrounds are there for basketball, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and arrangements for carrom, table tennis, chess and many more indoor games are also there.
Yes Hostels are good Inside campus Libraty Facilitu 24*7 Rooms are shared either with two or five depends on size of room Over all good rooms with less rent in a city like Mumbai there are good eateries near to hostel and canteen facilities also
Very inclusive campus Pro LGBTQ campus Great place to learn and evolve as human being More women in campus, more women faculties Women and men security guards One gender neutral hostel Good ambience over all Badminton court basketball court available
Yes I have opted for hostel. the hostels in this campus are sharing of 3persons in each room where we have both old and new campuses hostels and new campuses hostel rooms are much better than old campus rooms PG rooms are available and just beside the campis
If you say gender ratio is mixed for both females and males.since the college is home to different courses you can learn from different course students. basically the learning through peers is a different knowledge here.we do have sports competitions, have union elections for students too which is a strong presence in campus, also have every week some or other events ongoing in campus
