Course Description

M.Sc. Mass Communication, Advertising and Journalism or Master of Science in Mass Communication, Advertising and Journalism is a postgraduate Mass Communication course. It is a combination of print media, advertising, reporting, copy-writing and communication research. The Mass Communication theories are integrated into the disciplines offered in the program, such as Film & Television, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising and Multimedia. With the integration of disciplines, students are not only kept abreast with the growth of the media trends, but also of its contents in style and presentation. Such learning experiences through the integration of theory and practice incorporated in the modules will not only mould students to be independent individuals but also train them to possess a healthy flexibility of thought and creative problem-solving skills in line with the industry.
