VNIT Nagpur is an autonomolus university, established in 2002. VNIT Nagpur has been ranked 82 for overall by NIRF 2023. The Institute was formerly known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE). It was created in 1960 as part of a project supported by the governments of India and Maharashtra.
