You are eligible for both IIMs. Your academics, on the other hand, are mediocre, which can work against you. IIM Udaipur will contact you solely on the basis of your CAT score. IIM Shillong, on the other hand, may or may not. IIM-S has stringent admission requirements. My only piece of advice is to ignore everything else and concentrate on getting a high CAT percentile, preferably above 99.5, and youll almost certainly get into one of the IIMs. With a balanced sectional and good percentile in CAT, you should get calls from both these institutes. Also, prepare well for the interview. The interview part of admission is the most difficult, so try to be confident as much as you can. If you are confident that you will get a great percentile in CAT, you can also apply for FMS.

Between IIM Shillong, SJMSOM, and IIM Trichy, which college is best? I am looking for a good learning experience and placements.

IIM Shillong Admission PGP 2021- 2023 admissions will be through CAT 2020 scores. The shortlisting of candidates will be done in two phases. The shortlisted candidates have to provide proof of completion of their UG degree by December 31, 2020. In the first or second week of May, candidates will be called for an interview for selection.
IIM Shillong will give 70% weightage to the Personal Interview round for the MBA admissions 2021. Candidates are now required to score 75 percentile in the CAT 2020 exam score get shortlisted for admission.
The selection process for IIM Shillong MBA WE include an entrance test, students with CAT or GMAT score will be exempted from the entrance exam. The application fee for admission is INR 3500 for the Indian applicants.

IIM Shillong Scholarships

The Institute assists the students in getting educational loans from banks during the admission process. They believe that no candidate should be denied the opportunity to pursue the Post Graduate Program. For this, IIM Shillong has a provision for the Need-Based Financial Assistance Scheme to help the economically weak student studying in PGP.

Apart from this, the Fellow Program in Management which can be pursued in Economics, Marketing, and other disciplines is one where students are provided stipends and fellowships.

For the first year, a student will be given INR 20,000, for second and third year INR 25,000 and for the fourth year, INR 30,000
An additional stipend of INR 5,000 will be paid to students for the academic duty assigned up to 10 hours in a week.

Ans. An Executive MBA from any IIM will be worth it. Since you have 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, it’ll be an advantage for you. Unless you are keen to learn in this field you should not opt for IIM Shillong as the placement percentage in the manufacturing sector is as low as 13%. It is advisable to look into other colleges with a higher percentage of placements in the manufacturing sector. Some of the colleges with a better percentage of placements are given below. National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE),Mumbai: It is one of the leading institutes in this league. The programs offered here are PGDIM (Industrial Management), PGDISEM (Industrial Safety and Environmental Management), PGDMM and (Manufacturing Management), PGDPM (Project Management). NITIE has a decent campus with the tallest B-school hostel. They have several research centers like Communication Studies, Centre for Supply Chain Management, and Centre for SME. My overall experience at this college was good. I had so much fun with my friends and classmates. The infrastructure of our college was good and the campus life too, we have games facilities, wifi, medical center, etc.

"IIM Shillong - Campus in Clouds"

Academics is just one part of the MBA institute. Networking is another. Because of its small batch size, you get to know all the people well. Also Shillong is a beautiful place to live, thanks to its weather. As the college is situated on a hill, you can actually see clouds in the campus, and hence the name. There are many tourist destinations nearby which can be visited to blow off the steam.
