Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the college because as a North Eastern NEHU university is considered one of the best education providers and St Mary's is the best option for women and as have taken geography the campus has the best view with facilities in terms of practical and surveys for geography students teachers are also really reliable and down to earth really helpful and they don't prefer using local language they teach in English so that it will give the student the comfort they wanted exams are also been conducted every semester and it's difficult to pass but the facilities are good
Remarks:
St Mary's is one of the prestigious college of Shillong and specially for girls it is eligible to all those who wanted to opt for a better college for graduation especially in Northeastern Region it's under NEHU which is the leading university of Shillong and application for admission will be available from June to July are result and reservation seats are also there for tribals St/Sc and Obc also they are given preference in terms of choosing the subject they wanted and they can avail it but entrance exam is mandatory for all
Placement Experience:
There are many placements available on campus. High-paying placements to low-paying placements. There are more than 10-15 companies which come every year to our college for giving placements to the students.
Remarks:
I did not take any entrance exams. I got a seat based on my 12th standards marks but there are entrance options available through which one can get admission into their desired courses. Our college has many courses available for students to apply for.
Course Curriculum Overview:
So far the course is good and also satisfied with the faculties. The teachers are well-educated and are very helpful supportive and hardworking. They put great effort to make the syllabus and teaching easier for us and understandable. They also provided us with study materials online.
Remarks:
First, the candidate must pass the Higher Secondary exam. The admission(B.Com) is based on merits. The average percentage is 70%. Second, visit the official college website and sign up on the application portal. After signing up login into the application portal and fill in the required details and documents. And third, the application fee should be paid online using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking. Applicants are advised to write the UID and Online Transaction ID on the printout of the application form.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I wanted to pursue ECE. The faculty is talented but the course is very old and not be very helpful in the upcoming years. Faculties to student ratio are good as there are lots of faculty. Most faculty are PHD or MTech degree holders from a reputed college Exams are held every 2 months including mid and end sems
Remarks:
The admission was based on online counselling in 2021 based on JEE score. Eligibility is you have to have more than 55% in 10+2. The application form can be found on the university website. No application fee is required. Reservation is for SC/ST EWS students The admission is now offline based which is good now
Placement Experience:
Wipro Infosys techs tata and many more companies no. Of approx 30. Highest salary 9LPA Lowest 4 LPA as per company and profile offered Percentage approx 30 percent or sometimes 35 % After getting my degree I will do MTech by clearing the gate exam and try to achieve it at university
Remarks:
The admission process was done very mannerly. No entrance exam was there to take admission to the college a short interview was there between students and the faculty. The application process and cut-off are not there if you participate in other exams in there exam they have their own cut-off.
