BPUT has concluded B.Pharm admissions for the academic session 2021-22. Admissions to the program are done through OJEE scores followed by a counseling procedure. BPUT B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

Minimum score required is 50% or more in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
B.Pharma age limit is around 25 years old and the minimum age to apply for the course is 17.

BPUT B.Pharm Admission Criteria

Admission to the B.Pharma course is based on the score obtained in the OJEE Exam. Interested candidates need to register themselves Online on the official website of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination. The University will allot colleges according to the merit of candidates in the qualifying examination.

OJEE is a Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Odisha Committee for admission to UG and PG courses. It is a state-level examination. The committee is also responsible to conduct counselling cum admission procedures. The eligibility criteria for the OJEE B Pharma entrance test is that the candidate must have done 10+2 with PCM/B as compulsory subjects. There is no age limit set by the authorities for this examination. It is a computer based test of 3 hours. It contains objective type Questions.

How to Apply for BPUT B.Pharm?

Visit the official website https://ojee.nic.in/
The candidate needs to choose an appropriate application form (form A, B, C, D, E) to proceed with registration.
Choose the application form based on your qualification and course you are interested in studying.
Click on "New Registration".
Fill in the online application form.
Upload scanned images.
Pay examination fees through Debit/Credit Card (VISA/ MASTER/ Maestro cards/ net Banking)
After successful submission of a fee, candidates can take a printout of the confirmation page.

BPUT B.Pharm Course Details

This is a 4 year course. Mainly divided into 6-8 semesters based on courses and practice. Pharm shares useful knowledge about biochemical science and medical business. Students must carry out various exercises and experiments in the learning process.

B. Pharm is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharma.
Students during their coursework have to perform various practicals and experiments.
B. Pharm has a lot of scope and there will be great demand for healthcare professionals who can prepare drugs to battle a number of diseases and deficiencies.

Ques. I did not opt for mathematics in 10+2. Can I still apply for B Pharma?

Ans. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to B. Pharma is the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology, then you may apply for this course.

Ques. Can I choose PGDM In Pharma after B. Pharmacy?

Ans. Yes, PGDM in pharmacy is the best course you can do after a B.Pharma course. The Understanding of the Fundamentals of Pharmacy will be developed in the PGDM in Pharma. PGDM in Pharma will give you the best job and even knowledge and experience to start our business.

Ques. What are the career prospects after completion of B. Pharma?

Ans. There are various career options available after completion of the B. Pharma course. You can either opt for higher studies or for job opportunities after B. Pharmacy. Some jobs you can do for B.Pharma are Community Pharmacist, Hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Quality Control Association, Clinical research associate, R&D scientist, etc.

Ques. What are the Infrastructural facilities offered by BPUT for its B Pharma Program?

Ans. BPUT offers two hostels for girls and two hostels for boys along with free wifi facility. It also has a library with a huge collection of books, journals and ebooks. It is also equipped with computers and laboratories along with the internet facility.

Seemant College is Better option for B.pharmacy

Course Curriculum Overview:

My mentor in our college suggested me this course and told me its benefit and only I got into it. The faculty-student ratio in our Institution is around 1:50. The lecturer is a very good education and is highly qualified. All teachers teach well inside the classroom. They are helpful. Students are free to ask them. Many of the Lectures are Having Dr. Degree alongside a more quality degree. Their teaching methods are also really appreciable. And students enjoy their lectures. There are 2 sessional exams in a semester and the final sem exam also. And also some surprise tests quiz test and assignments are carried out.

The teaching process in our college was very good, in Covid situation our teachers helped us a lot while in Online Mode. A Place to lose old version and find new side of oneself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is a total of 8 semesters with 4 Years span. Each year consists of 2 semesters which were conducted by BPUT. The faculty here are more innovative and try to introduce new ways of teaching. For labs, they have well-equipped laboratory equipment but some were not functioning well although the faculty tried to give the best to students. Coming to exams, one who will study and attend classes regularly will easily score good marks and qualify for higher class.
