The Central University of Odisha was established by the Government of India. It is a NAAC Accredited University.
Central University of Odisha has 7 schools, 14 Departments and offers multiple courses. At UG level, the University offers BCA and B.Ed programmes. At PG level, the University offers MA, M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc and MBA programmes. The University also offers M.Phil and PHD programmes at Doctorate level with 8 different specialisations. For all the courses, admissions are offered on the basis of CUET- Common University Entrance Test. The university offers admission to the B.Ed and BCA courses. For B.Ed, students should have graduated in any stream. Whereas, for admission to BCA course, students should be 10+2 qualified.

- Candidates must have completed their HSC (10+2) from a recognised board with at least 50 % marks overall and mathematics as a subject.
