What students say about Centurion University of Technology and Management - [CUTM]

Likes

  • Facilities are very good here; they help us in our activities. Practicals are taught by professors through their own process, with no discrimination. Lab assistants are also good.
  • It was really good to be part of the internship as I gained some knowledge about manufacturing electric vehicles.
  • Each and every year, renowned companies hire students with a good package, which is quite appreciable for the start of ones life.
  • Scholarships are provided here, but you have to crack exams for them. Campus placements are also good here on our campus, and stipends are provided during internships.
  • Campus life is very good, with a lot of scope for growth. Talking about the workshops, there were many, such as robotics, aero modeling, photography, web designing, etc.
  • The food menu of the hostel is very good, but the quality of the food is not good.
  • In India, there are many colleges, but I think CUTM is the best for every student to study and prove themselves as qualified students.

Dislike

  • The placement of CSE students is very good, but for mechanical students, it is very poor. The college does not bring mechanical companies to campus, so the placement condition at our college is very bad, in my opinion. However, they do provide off-campus and pull-campus opportunities.
  • No, I have not opted for any scholarships or education loans. However, I am aware that the college provides scholarships for economically disadvantaged students.
  • There is lab activity happening, but the lab that is taught by teachers is very poor; no one understands it.
  • The condition of the hostel room is very bad, and the service is also very bad. If the fan is not working, then an engineer will come after 20 days.
  • College is decent, but you should not expect much from it as a university; otherwise, you will be disappointed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I think I can get a job in the industrial sector easily so I chose to be a mechanical engineer. The faculties in the college have very nice behavior with outstanding teaching skills.

Remarks:

This college is situated in Bhubaneswar Orissa if you want to take admission to this college, you should fill out the application form first and then the process of fee payment has to be done by you which is like the first year you have to pay 30000 then in the second year 50000 and the third year 50000.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are typically organized by colleges and universities to help their graduating students find employment opportunities. During these placements, companies visit the campus and conduct interviews, group discussions, and other selection processes to identify suitable candidates for their job openings. The students who successfully pass these processes are offered jobs, often with a good salary package. However, not all colleges and universities offer campus placements, and even among those that do, the number and quality of job opportunities can vary widely. In some cases, the placement process may be competitive, with only a small percentage of students being selected for jobs. In other cases, the job opportunities may be limited or not well-suited to the student's interests or qualifications. If a college or university does not offer campus placements, students may need to rely on other methods to find employment after completing their course.

Remarks:

The admission process at CUTM varies based on the program of study. Here are the general steps that one needs to follow to apply for admission: Application Form: Candidates can apply for admission to CUTM online by visiting the official website of the university. They need to fill out the application form and upload the required documents. Entrance Exam: Some courses at CUTM require candidates to take an entrance exam such as JEE Main, OJEE, CAT, XAT, MAT, etc. Candidates are advised to check the course-specific eligibility criteria before applying. Group Discussion and Personal Interview: After the entrance exam, candidates who have qualified will be called for a group discussion and personal interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I was a commerce student and I found BCom honors at centurion University so I found it good the fees also were nominal for B.Com which is 40000 per semester, so overall it was plenty good for those who want to pursue it here.

Remarks:

There was no entrance exam for BCom as it is a private university all you need is a minimum of 50 percent on the 12th and when coming to the application form you get it on the college's website and the college staff will explain the complete structure of B.Com.
