Ans. IIT Bhubaneshwar has come into existence recently and it is a new and young institute. It needs to develop more to grow and attain the reputation like other well stable institutes. It has to improve in terms of infrastructure, faculty, and opportunities. A few points on IIT Kharagpur before taking a decision: IIT Kharagpur is a well stable and maintained institute and has everything that you wish in an institute. It has the best faculty, reputation, and infrastructure. You can choose IIT Kharagpur if you want to spend your college years on a good campus with all the facilities as it is heaven for four years. If you are not getting the branch of your interest, there is an option to change the branch. But you must attain a higher GPA in your first semester, however, it is not an assured way and is risky. Compared with Industrial System Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, EE at IIT Bhubaneshwar would be a better option as the academics and job opportunities are better. Ans. IIT Bhubaneswar has been ranked as 56th in the NIRF’s list of top colleges for Ph.D. The overall NIRF ranking of the college, however, is 22 among all the engineering colleges in India. To apply for the Ph.D. courses in IIT Bhubaneswar, one has to go through the GATE entrance examination or have secured a UGC/CSIR-NET JRF score. Facilities for the Ph.D. courses are quite good at IIT Bhubaneswar, the fee structure has been increased but is feasible and around Rs 36.09 year. The course structure in Physics consists of fundamental subjects like Experimental Atomic-Molecular-Surface Physics, Modeling of Biological Systems, Biophysics, and Quantum Field Theory among others. Ans. M.Sc Physics program at IIT Bhubaneswar is quite good both in terms of academics and future career prospects. It is a two-year full-time postgraduate program and the course fee is INR 2.66 lakh. The pre-requisite for admission to the program is a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree or 5.5 CGPA for general candidates and for SC/ST or PwD students a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree or 5.0 CGPA. Selection to the program is based on the performance in JAM, according to the AIR decided by the institute. For tie-breaking, the candidate with higher positive marks is given preference. The least cutoff for MSc in Physics in last year was 370. According to the placement statistics of 2019, around 70% of students from PG course got placement and the average CTC was 11.4 LPA. But, between IIT Bhubaneswar and NIT Rourkela, I would suggest you choose NIT Rourkela over IIT Bhubaneswar. The reasons for this are as follows. NIT Rourkela holds rank 19 whereas IIT Bhubaneswar is ranked at 26 by NIRF in the year 2020. Thus, NIT Rourkela holds a better rank than IIT Bhubaneswar. The ranking that NIT Rourkela holds is mainly because of its infrastructure and research facilities. Many research papers have been published by the institute in the past years. SVNIT's mechanical branch is very good as the faculties are well experienced and they won't let you down in any circumstances and would be very supportive. They are quite good and would help in academics and non-academics things also. From the placement perspective, the placement record of SVNIT mechanical engineering is quite high. Many core companies for the core branches like mechanical visit the campus for the on-campus placements. They also offer two student chapters to enhance and improve the student's technical skills. Fee Structure And Facilities :

For Unreserved students, the tution fee is 1lakh/semester(6 months) and for sc/st/obc(irrespective of their economic background), their tution fee is 20000. Additional fees(hostel, campus maintenance etc) sum up to around 50000 for everyone making the course fee at around 3 lakh per year for UR and 1. 3 lakh per year for sc/st/obc. However if, one comes from a poor economic background, the College arranges for scholarship a d fee relaxation for the student concerned.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of almost all IITs is practical world demanding process driven, ie it guides students into learning and developing technologies that is currently in deficit in the present world. Technologies that the world has the greatest demand for forms the basis of our course. It is offcourse well research driven, but how fair it is depends on implementation. The IIT system exposes us to global problems and requirements, through the various internships that students undergo in these years, both on as well as off campus. Placements are well co-ordinated by the CDC providing us a good environment to impart our knowledge into use.

It feasible, academic fee's is about 180000 The fee can be submitted through e banking, through sbi bank,the there are other things like library charges, medical charges and ect which maki the fee total of 200000,mess and hostle fee is about 28000 so the total fee is 230000

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee including tuition and hostel is around 1,30,000 rupees for a general category Student per semester.1,16,000 Rs odd is tution fee.rest is hostel fee. You can get various scholarships based on the income of the family. There is also a tie up with sbi for education loans.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course circulum is lagging behind in the CSE department. There could many more relevant CSE courses but instead we are offered a lot of ECE courses. Faculty number for CSE is also less than required.There is a innovation centre for those interested. They help students with what they require. The days are not very hectic. They are quite manageable.we have 2 or 3 lab courses each semester.

Hi Prakash, the cut off in JEE Advanced 2019 has not been released yet. You will have to wait till the institute announces the rank range officially. However, you may get an idea from the Last Year Cut Off of IIT Bhubaneswar from here.
