Aspirants seeking admission in this program must have passed +2 Science/equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. For SC/ST/PwD/PMSSS (for B.Sc (Hons) Ag at CA, BBSR) / Kashmiri Migrant /Kashmiri Pundit (Non-Migrant) /Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) candidates, it is 40%

1. There will be a COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc(Hons).
2. The candidates for admission will be selected only on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her performance of academic career, Entrance Examination and Extracurricular activities.
3.  If two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/equivalent in that order

OUAT provides the undergraduate programs not only in the field of Agriculture, but in the fields of Home Science, Horticulture, Basic Science, Veterinary, and Fisheries as well.

The selection for these courses are based on the merit score of 10^th/HSC, 10+2 or equivalent examination, and the score obtained in the common entrance exam conducted by the university.

Selection Criteria

OUAT conducts a common entrance test to select the candidates for the UG courses. The test is composed of 200 multiple choice questions from the following subjects:

• Physics – 66 Marks
• Chemistry – 66 Marks
• Mathematics/Biology – 68 Marks

Note: The candidates applying for B.Sc. (Forestry) need to qualify in the Physical Endurance Test as well and must provide a Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Medical Officer.
