Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) was established in the memory of the great Sufi Saint Baba Farid, by the Punjab govt. The University provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medical Sciences. Admissions are conducted to the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) through separate common entrance examinations held for different courses. At present, the University has 146 affiliated colleges comprising of 139 affiliated and 7 constituent Colleges (with an approximately 35,000 students). BFUHS offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate course in different streams along with Ph.D. program.

Candidates with 50% marks in the qualifying exam are eligibility to apply for MBBS and BDS.
The selection will be done on the basis of NEET UG exam and counseling session.
For B.Pharm the candidate should have passed class 12^th with minimum 45% marks with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Biotechnology as optional subject individually whereas for B.Pharm. (Lateral Entry) he/she should have done D.Pharm. with min. 45% marks.
B.Pharm with 55% marks will be allowed to apply for M.Pharm.
The selection under B.Pharm., B.Pharm Lateral Entry and M.Pharm will be made on the basis of merit in qualifying exam and counseling both.
Candidates passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC) and English as a compulsory subject or an equivalent degree will be eligible to apply for B.Sc. Nursing.
Admission to B.Sc. Nursing will be given on the basis of PPMET followed by physical counseling.
A pass with 50% marks in PCB is required with English as a compulsory subject, in B.Sc. (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry) and 40% marks are required in B.Sc. General.
The selection in B.Sc. with all the specializations will be done on merit basis.
In MD/ MS/MDS, the candidates need to obtain min. 50% in the qualifying examination for making an application.
They will be selected based on the NEET PG score.
For M.Sc. Nursing, the candidate has to pass B.Sc. (Nursing)/ B.Sc. (Post Basic Nursing). whereas he/she will be selected based on his marks in PMNET score.
For MPT, the candidate should have done BPT with at least 50% marks.
The selection in MPT course will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree,
Candidates with Masters securing 55% marks in the respective discipline is necessary for making an application for Ph.D.
After all the applications being received the candidates will be admitted based on the marks in PHDET followed by viva voce.

BFUHS MBBS and BDS Admission 2020

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences provides Bachelor programs in three broad specializations - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) and Bachelor of Pharmacy(B. Pharm). The minimum percentage of marks a candidate has to obtain in the qualifying exam for being eligible to apply is 50%. For B.Pharm, the minimum eligiblity is passing of class 12^th with 45% marks in aggregate with one of the subjects as Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology and English as the permanent subject. For B.Pharm Lateral Entry, the candidate must have done Diploma in Pharm with min. 45% marks. For Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm), candidates belonging to the general group require at least 55 percent in B. Pharm, whereas a 50 percent is required for candidates belonging to the reserved category. BFUHS M.Sc. (Nursing), MPT Admission 2020

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences offers M.Sc. degree in four specializations - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Nursing. While admissions in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry is done on the basis of marks scored in B.Sc., for admission in Nursing marks scored in PMNET is also considered.

The university also offers Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) for which the eligibility is a graduation degree in BPT with at least 50% marks and the admissions are done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam and counseling/ Interview after that.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) offers Ph.D program in faculties of Medical/ Allied Health/ Dental/ Nursing/ Physiotherapy/ Pharmaceutical Sciences. Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D program can visit the official website of BFUHS and register themselves for the entrance exam PHDET conducted by BHUFS along with INR 3000 through bank challan. The duly filled complete application form along with the demand draft and other requisite enclosure documents should be sent to the office of the coordinator, Ph.D Research cell faridkot.The university will notify the entrance examination date on official website of the university.

For MPT

Visit the official website.
Download the application form from the website.
Take a print out of the form and fill it.
After filling, submit the form along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences of the amount INR 5000 (INR 2500 for SC category), Faridkot and the xerox copies of the related documents with self attestation.
Send all of it to the office of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot before the due date.

For B.Sc. Nursing (PPMET)

For being eligible for B.Sc. Nursing course, the candidate has to apply for PPME. It has to be done in the online mode only.Follow the given steps for applying:

Register for PPMT exam and fill all the required details and click on submit.
Make the registration fee payment through any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce through Bank Challan form which will be generated after online submission of application form.

For B.Pharm

For applying to the B.Pharma course, the candidate has to start by paying the registration fees at any Oriental Bank of Commerce branch by using specified bank challan form (available at the university’s website).

Log on to the official university website and follow the steps given therein to fill and submit the application form for admission to the desired programme
After the application is submitted, candidates can take the printout of the application form along with the bank challan generated
Then, the candidate should deposit the application fee through the generated challan at any branch of the “Oriental Bank of Commerce” or “HDFC Bank”
The application fee can also be deposited online through internet banking within the stipulated time

Hi Sir/Mam, Admission to the BPT course will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks received by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) in their 10+2 examination.The application process is given below:-

Log on to the official university website and follow the steps given therein to fill and submit the application form for admission to the desired programme
After the application is submitted, candidates can take the printout of the application form along with the bank challan generated
Then, the candidate should deposit the application fee through the generated challan at any branch of the “Oriental Bank of Commerce” or “HDFC Bank”
The application fee can also be deposited online through internet banking within the stipulated time
