The eligibility criteria for both full-time MBA and distance education MBA is as follows:

MBA (Regular): Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 55% marks as an aggregate.

MBA (Distance Education): Candidates applying for LPUDE MBA must have completed their Graduation in the relevant discipline.

  • The candidates will be selected on the basis of the CAT/MAT/NMAT/XAT/CMAT/LPUNEST examination.
  • Candidates who have given other national-level exams are exempted from LPUNEST.
  • LPUNEST will be conducted in online mode.
  • Shortlisted candidates of CAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ XAT/CMAT/ LPUNEST will be called for a Personal Interview.
  • The students who have completed CS/CA/CMA are also eligible for the MBA program.

The details application process is given below:

Step 1: Signup

  • Register on the LPU official admission portal with all the basic details required(Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). 
  • After successful registration, you will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
  • Login to LPU ADMIT using your previously created username and password.

Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online entrance test conducted to offer admission to programs you are interested in. Admission to MBA is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interview. 

  • Deposit the test fee:
  • The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
  • The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
  • Fill out the test application form.

Step 3: Book the exam slot

  • Book the time slot as per your preferred date, time, and venue to appear in the test.
  • You can choose from the 200 cities in India where the test will be conducted.
  • Download the examination hall ticket.

Step 4: Interview

  • After qualifying LPUNEST, choose a suitable date/ time/ venue to appear in the interview.
  • Appear for the interview in your preferred time slot.

Step 5: Admission

  • Deposit initial payment of INR 20,000. After the successful realization of the payment.
  • A Provisional Registration Number will be produced and sent to the email address you provided.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • The balance fee must be charged within the university's deadlines.
