JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur has a very distinctive scholarship program to encourage and support meritorious applicants. The applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to a full waiver of the JKLU Academic Fee. The details for the same are elaborated below:

Scholarships for BBA and BCA

To encourage and support meritorious applicants, JKLU has a very distinctive scholarship program. The applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to a full waiver of the University Academic Fee. The scholarship is awarded based on: 

• Academic Performance in Class X & Class XII marks. (Only for those who have passed class XII in 2021/2022/2023.)
• Exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.) reserved with VC Sir.

• For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10^th and 12^th class scores will be computed as follows:

  • For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
  • For Class XII Score (for BBA): English and three subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)
  • For Class XII Score (for BCA): English, Maths/Physics/Economics/Accountancy/Computer Science/Informatics Practices and two subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)

Note: The scholarship offered by JKLU is applicable for the duration of the program, subject to maintaining the required CGPA.

Scholarship on the basis of Academic Performance in Class X & Class XII marks

Scholarships for B.Des

To encourage and support meritorious Applicants, JKLU has a very distinctive scholarship programme. Applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to full waiver of the University Academic Fee. 

Scholarship is awarded based on

• Academic Performance in Class X and XII marks. 
• Performance in JKLU-DET & Portfolio Round. 

Scholarship on the basis of Academic Performance in Class X and XII marks, JKLU DET and Portfolio :
Students who have secured a position in the top 15% in R1 and R2​ top 10% In R3 in JKLU-DET rounds will receive scholarships varying from 75% - 100% fee waiver. Additionally, students with exceptional portfolios will be awarded relevant scholarships. Additionally, students with exceptional portfolios will be awarded relevant scholarships. ​

Criteria for Eligibility for Scholarship for Round 1

Scholarships for Undergraduate Programmes offered at Institute of Engineering & Technology: B.Tech.

• Assured - Assured component is guaranteed for four years.
• Merit based - Merit based component, which is subject to maintaining a specified minimum academic performance.
• Scholarship is awarded based on: Academic Performance in Class X & Class XII marks. (Only for those who have passed class XII in 2021/2022/2023.) Performance in JEE 2021/2022/2023, if available.
• Exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.) reserved with VC.
• For the purpose of awarding scholarships, the 10th and 12th class scores will be computed as follows: For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms. For Class XII Score: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (total of four subjects)

The merit- based assured scholarship for 2023 is as follow: 

Scholarship based on JEE Mains Percentile as follows (only for B.Tech.):

Scholarship on the basis of exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.)

The scholarship level will upgrade by one level in case of exceptional achievements in any other sphere by the student. Any such up-gradation in scholarship level will have to be approved by VC on the recommendation of the Director, Admissions and Director of the Institute.

Relaxation in Scholarship criteria for special cases

(Relaxation will be for only one category, even if the candidate belongs to more than one category.)

Continuation of the scholarship in consecutive years

Scholarships awarded at the time of admission will continue for the normal duration of the program subject to the student achieving a specified minimum level of performance as given in the table below:

Additionally, JKLU has a scheme of fee reduction for certain categories of students. As of now, the university reduces fee by 25% for the following people:

Note(s): The scholarships are also dependent on the date of application and the date of confirmation of admission. Early admissions have more relaxed criteria for scholarships. Every month, the deadline for application will be the last date of the month. The admission decision will be communicated within 1-2 weeks, and the initial payment to confirm the admission will have to be made within one week of the admission offer.

For those who have taken the 12^th class exams and do not have the scores available at the time of application, they will be governed by the rules applicable on the date of application/confirmation of admission. Hence it is advantageous for everyone to apply early, even without the scores of 12^th class.
