JNVU offers admission to B.E. and B.Arch. at UG level. The admission is offered on the basis of score in national level entrance followed by REAP counselling conducted by Rajasthan Board of Technical Education.

Specialization

The university offers B.Arch. in only one specialization i.e. Architecture & Town Planning and B.Tech. is offered under 12 specializations that are tabulated below:

JNVU BE and B.Arch. Eligibility

Eligibility for BE: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate marks (minimum 45% aggregate marks for Rajasthani Quota).

Eligibility for B.Arch: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

JNVU BE and B.Arch. Selection Criteria

Admission to BE and B.Arch. is based on the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Technical Education.

Jai Narain Vyas University offers a 3-years BBA course. The table encapsulates data related to the same.

Eligibility: The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks for All India candidates and 45% aggregate marks for Rajasthan domicile candidates. ​

Selection Criteria: Selection is done on the basis of merit secured in the qualifying exam followed by counselling conducted at University-Level.

JNVU offers several undergraduate programs including BA, BA (Hons), BCA, B.Com., B.Com. (Hons), B.Sc., BBA, LLB and BALLB. The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with at least 60% marks for All India Quota (minimum 45% for Rajasthan State) candidates. Selection is based on academic merit in 10+2 followed by counselling conducted by the University.

• For Honors programs, students have to secure at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.
• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission.
• Selection is based on merit subject to the availability of seats.
• 36% of seats are reserved for female candidates as per government regulations.
• Seats are reserved for local residents (all Rajasthan basis as opposed to all India basis).

At PG level, JNVU offers ME course in full-time as well as part-time mode in different specializations. Candidates must have B.E/ B.Tech. degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks. Refer to the table containing information related to the course.

JNVU ME Eligibility

Candidates must have passed B.E or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks to apply for ME course (Full-Time/ Part-Time).

JNVU ME Selection Criteria

• Admission to full-time and part-time ME course is based on marks in B.E/ B.Tech degree and University-Based entrance test.
• Preference will be given to the candidates with a valid score in GATE exam and such candidates are exempted from the university entrance test.

Specialization

The university offers three specializations under MBA course namely: MBA (CMAT), Tourism & Hospitality (T & H) and Financial Services (FS).

JNVU MBA and MBA Executive Eligibility

Eligibility for MBA: Candidates must have any Bachelor’s degree with 48% marks.

Eligibility for MBA Executive: Candidates must have any Bachelor’s degree with an industrial experience of at least two years.

JNVU MBA and MBA Executive Selection Criteria

• Candidates with a valid CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ XAT score are shortlisted for admission into the MBA course.
• The shortlisted candidates have to appear for GD and PI rounds.
• Those who perform well in the above rounds are selected for admission.
• For MBA Executive, admission is based on GD and PI rounds only.

JNVU offers several postgraduate programs including MA, M.Sc., M.Com, LL.M, MCA, M.P.Ed., MHRM, Master of Special Education, Master of Financial Analysis & Control and Master of Tourism Administration. Candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit in these courses followed by counselling. Candidates must possess a graduation degree to be eligible for the admission.

LL.M admission will be granted on the basis of Law Entrance Test (LET) conducted by JNVU. LET will consist 150 MCQs of 450 marks for the duration of 120 minutes. Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer. The questions will be asked from Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Law of Torts & Crimes, Environment Law, Public International Law, IPR and Human Rights.

Key Points:

• For MBA (FS), pay the application fee of INR 1200 in the form of DD in favor of Head, DMS Entrance Test, Department of Management Studies, JNVU, Jodhpur.
• Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the state government in question and therefore varies from the jurisdiction. Generally, a 5% relaxation in the minimum required percentage is given to the candidates from reserved categories.
• For M.Sc Statistics, Students must have studied Statistics/ Physics Computer Science or Economics as the main subject along with Mathematics.
• Selection is nomination based on merit only and is open on an All India basis. However, a separate process is held on an all Rajasthan level. Admission is subject to availability of seats.
• For Home Science M.Sc course, only girl candidates can apply.
• The relevance of the qualifying degree to the applied course is accepted at the discretion of the University.
• JNVU also offers MA program under the Institute of Evening Studies.
• For LLM, the university conducts LET but for session 2020-21, admission to the course will be based on merit secured in the qualifying exam.

Jai Narain Vyas University also offers Diploma and PG Diploma programs. The minimum eligibility for Diploma is 10+2 while a graduate can apply for PG Diploma.

Admission to these programs is based on merit in the qualifying exam. 

JNVU also offers M.Phil and Ph.D. in different specializations.

The minimum eligibility to apply is a PG degree with 1^st or 2^nd division from a recognized university. Admission is done on the basis of M.Phil & Ph.D. Entrance Test (MPET) conducted by the university.

To apply, candidates need to visit the admission portal of JNVU and apply online through ‘Ph.D. Registration Link’ available on the home page. The application fee for M.Phil and Ph.D. is INR 2500 and INR 3000 with late fee charges.

Key Points:

• For Ph.D. admission, candidates with a M.Phil degree are also eligible for admission.
• Proficiency in English language is a must for admission.
• MPET consists of 100 MCQs and candidates must score 50% marks to qualify the exam.
• 5% relaxation in the minimum marks required is given to SC, ST. Physically and Visually challenged candidates.
