NIIT University is a highly respected educational institution known for its commitment to preparing students for successful careers. With over 700 active industry partners, including IBM, Tata Consultancy Services, and Morgan Stanley, NU has a 100% placement record and is highly sought after by employers. This is due to the university's focus on not just academics but also career development, which prepares students for real-world challenges and helps them develop into problem solvers who are highly valued by the industry. NU's placement process begins in the first year and includes unique workshops, the Career Development Council, and industry practice programs. The university also offers students the opportunity for summer internships and supports those who wish to start their ventures through its Centre for Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, NU helps students interested in further studies by mentoring them for admission to top universities in India.
The NUAT consists of questions on Maths, English, and General Knowledge. The application process for the entrance exam is straightforward and can be done online through the official website. The application fee for NUAT is INR 2,500. The cut-off for NUAT is decided by the university and may vary from year to year. Eligibility for the course requires the student to have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. NU offers reservation benefits to students belonging to certain categories as per the guidelines set by the Government of India. The details of these benefits can also be found on the official website. In my opinion, the admission process at NU is quite rigorous and comprehensive, which is a good thing. However, I would like to see a more flexible application fee structure for students who come from economically weaker backgrounds. This would make the admission process more accessible to a larger number of students.
From the 7th semester, students become eligible mostly and for other courses it is different. The biggest recruiter I have seen was Morgan Stanley which picks up the best students out of here at a package of 20-24 lakhs per annum.
The eligibility of the course is very flexible and should stay like this. The admission process is through an interview where faculty asks you questions about general knowledge to check your fluency and awareness but to be honest they see your ability as an individual who has the will to improve and has abilities that are yet to be explored. The application form is on the website and the way the website handles all the requests is very easy to go through.
Campus placement is offered in the 8th semester. the university provides 100% placement with 6 lakhs average package and the highest is 100000. Many companies come for placements like EY, Delloite, and many more startups.
The admission process was not so difficult it just depends on preparations. First aptitude test happened and then face to face interview. I am doing an Integrated MBA which is a four years course. It is a great course as we are learning many things. You can find the application form on our college website.
