Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education offers LLM degree in two specializations, Contracts including Mercantile Law and, Labour and Industrial and Administrative Law. The course lasts for a duration of 3 years and consists of 6 semesters.
The minimum requirement to apply for an LLM degree is to obtain a graduate degree in law. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit.
Annamalai University LLM Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for admission for an LLM course must have completed an LLB / BBL / BAL / BGL degree or equivalent degree with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institute

The LLM program is offered in mainly two specializations: Contracts Including Mercantile Law and Labour and Industrial Relations and Administrative Law.
- The program has a duration of 3 years and divided into six semesters. The odd semester begins in May and ends in November. The even semester begins in December and ends in April.
- The student needs to earn 55 credits to complete and obtain an LLM degree.
- The student must complete 8 subjects to obtain their degree.
