Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, also known as IIM Trichy, came into existence in 2011 as 11th IIM of India. IIM Trichy Admissions

The admission process of IIM Trichy takes into consideration the candidate’s performance in CAT, performance in Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT), academic record and relevant work experience.

Note that achieving the cut-off percentile in CAT is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being shortlisted.

Hostels

The Institute has six student hostel blocks designed with an eye for elegance, utility and a scenic view of the skyline. Each hostel block has 3 floors with 18 rooms on each floor branching into the left and right wings at a passage with the common room on one side and the lift on the other. While lady students are accommodated in a hostel block dedicated to themselves and Differently Abled students in specialized rooms and attached bathrooms on the ground floor, the flawless architecture ensures co-learning.

Sports Facilities

The state-of-the-art sporting facilities range from a full-size football ground, cricket ground, a new sports complex that houses multiple badminton courts, gymnasium, a swimming pool with jacuzzi, and equipment for a wide range of indoor sports, to the basketball, volleyball courts and facilities for various other outdoor sports. The swimming pool area, which includes a kid's pool and a jacuzzi along with a dedicated TT room with synthetic flooring was recently opened for use. The work on the rest of the facilities is expected to be completed shortly which would signal the full operationality of the sports complex.
