Course Details

Kalasalingam University has begun the registration process for candidates seeking admission in the B.Arch program. The deadline to fill the application form is June 30. The admission to the B.Arch program is based on NATA which is conducted twice a year by NIASA. Kalasalingam University also accepts the score of the JEE-Aptitude test of Architecture which is also known as JEE Main paper 2 conducted by the NTA.

Kalasalingam University B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have an aggregate of 50% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

OR

  • The candidate must have an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+3 Diploma (in any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments.

OR

  • The candidate must have an aggregate of 50% marks in International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.
  • The candidate must have valid NATA scores.
  • The candidate must have passed the JEE-Aptitude test in Architecture.

Kalasalingam University B.Arch Entrance Exams 

NATA 2021

NATA is conducted twice a year by the NIASA and the eligibility criteria to appear for NATA 2021 have been revised as any candidate who has passed in 10+2/10+3 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be eligible to appear for the exam.

The Exam Pattern of the examination for 2021 has been revised and is as follows -:

  • NATA is a computer-based test and will be conducted in 1 session for the year 2021.
  • The exam would consist of 125 questions carrying 1, 2, or 3 marks amounting to a total of 180 marks. The questions can be related to Diagrammatic Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Situational Judgment, Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.

How to Apply for NATA?

  • The application form would be available on the official website or click on NATA Registration 2021
  • The applicant will have to sign up by filling in the basic details such as father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number and choosing the desired password. After submitting the details, a unique 8-digit Application number will be generated. This application number along with the password will be used further for login purposes.
  • The applicant will have to log in using the previously generated application number along with the password. The application form for NATA 2021 will open.
  • The application form is divided into 7 sections mainly- Personal details, Choice of examination Centre, Choice of First and Second test, Details of 10 or equivalent examination, Details of post 10/12/diploma examination, Communication Address and finally setting up a security question and a new password.
  • After filling in all the information, the students are required to upload the necessary documents.
  • After uploading all the necessary scanned documents, students are required to pay the application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking. The application fee for the students differs based on the category the student belongs to.
  • After successful completion of the payment, download or print the confirmation page for further use.

JEE Main Paper 2

JEE MAIN conducted by the NTA is being conducted in 4 sessions for 2021. The sessions for April and May have been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic and new dates will be soon released by the NTA 15 days before the commencement of the exam. The total duration of the JEE Main exam is 3 hours. For MCQ type (+4) is rewarded for every correct answer and (-1) for every incorrect answer. For the non-MCQ type, (+4) is rewarded for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for this type of question.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2?

  • The application form would be available on the official website of the JEE Main.
  • The applicant will have to register by filling in the basic details such as father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number along with demographic details. The applicant also has to choose the desired security question and a password. After submitting the details, a unique 12-digit Application number will be generated. This application number along with the password will be used further for login purposes.
  • The applicant will have to log in using the previously generated application number along with the password. The application form for JEE Main will open.
  • The application form is divided into 7 sections mainly- Personal details and demographic details, Choice of course that the applicant is applying for and examination Centre, Choice of First and Second test, Educational Qualifications, Parent’s Income details. After filling the form with the necessary information, the applicant can submit the form.
  • After filling in all the information, the students are required to upload the necessary documents.
  • After uploading all the necessary scanned documents, students are required to pay the application fee using SBI/Canara Bank/HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card / Net Banking/UPI and save the payment receipt. The application fee for the students differs based on the category the student belongs to.
  • After successful completion of the payment, download or print the confirmation page for further use.

How to apply for Kalasalingam University B.Arch?

  • The admission to the B.Arch course of Kalasalingam University will be done through the registration process in online mode.
