Periyar University, established in 1997, has been accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC. It covers the areas of 4 districts namely Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri. Periyar University is ranked #59 in the university category list by NIRF 2023. The university offers postgraduate and research programs under 29 different departments. It is also an affiliating university to 101 colleges in Tamil Nadu. Admission to the university is done on the basis of marks secured in various entrance exams. Periyar University follows the semester system for all its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. The examination for odd semester takes place in the month of December/January and for even semester, it happens in the month of May/June. After that You can go for Your department and can ask your class by showing fees slip.For Me it just takes 1 hour to all procedure. Very convenient to Join This Collage.

No, the Admission process was very simple anyone who passed the 12th Std can join this college. They ask for the required documents for admission. This is no entrance exam for this college. Very few simple steps for joining the college.

I have chosen a Bachelor of computer science. The staff members were very friendly. They use the projector for taking the class it is very effective for us. And this helps in scoring high marks in exams. Students are very very disciplined.

The college infrastructure is good, The buildings are very modern and good friendly professors. The process of admission is simple as they told me, first I submitted the application for admission ( application form fees -500 rupees. I personally prefer this college for a good and safe travelling experience and to learn from others.

I chose this course for interested in my biology. The faculty of PGP college is good, everyone in the department has completed PhD in their studies so the faculty of PGP college of arts and science is the best. Every year more and more students come to get admission to this college. The qualifications of faculties are good everyone seems nice to students. The relationship between students and faculties is good enough and their teaching methods are good and easy to understand. The Examinations are conducted on monthly basis First Unit Test and second unit test and model test and final semester examination. There are two semesters in a year. The exams are moderate level.
