Admission :

Every course has different selection criteria, I submitted an online application form which was worth rs 1000 for BBA LLB. Most of the courses give their seats to the students on the basis of merit list. After submitting the form, I got a call from the university regarding the further process of admission, I was asked to visit the university along with the necessary documents.

Placement Experience :

Not bragging but this university is a brand in itself. As it has tie-up with ZEE Group, the placement rate goes as up as you can imagine, every student is placed, of course, your job role and salary depends on your skills, experience and expertise. Apart from ZEE Groups many companies like Vivo, Oppo, Aptara visit the organisation for recruitment. The internship is quite decent as well, the department puts a lot of effort to help the students for internships.

Remarks :

There are many bad remarks about the college. The college does not provide neat hostel facility and hygienic sanitation facilities which in turn effect the health of the students and the classrooms are very small and overcrowded. The one thing to be highlighted is the campus recruitments. The overall experience is good.

Ques. Which is the better university between Saveetha and Vel Tech universities?

● Top Answer By Admin on 22 Sept 21

Ans. A few of my friends graduated from Saveetha University and Vel Tech University and based on their experience I will say Saveetha University is better than the Vel Tech engineering college. Saveetha University is the best because the college environment is excellent and has good faculty, good communications skills trainers. The college infrastructure is good with more labs, good teaching, and a friendly environment. The teaching methodology employed is quite good. There are only smart board classes.  Placements are way better at Saveetha University as compared to Val Tech. According to the recent placement trends around 91% of students get placed from Saveetha University.  Saveetha University is overall a better choice in terms of infrastructure, faculties, and placements.Read more

Ques. I am a resident of Telangana, completed inter 2 year, and am interested in a CSE. Is everything good at Saveetha University?

● Top Answer By Komal Chawla on 19 Jul 21

Ans. There are two colleges that fall under Saveetha University- Saveetha School of Engineering (Deemed institute) and Saveetha Engineering College (affiliated with Anna University). In Saveetha Engineering College, admission is done through Anna University counseling. Considering you are from Telangana, the points below give a brief overview of Saveetha School of Engineering (SSE) and its key highlights. Saveetha University is one of the best private universities in Chennai city, providing an interesting college life. It offers a great package of studies mixed with a great focus on research and journal publishing. In SSE, you can start doing mini projects even from your second semester itself, gaining knowledge from the teaching and technical staff. Being a deemed university, there is no much pressure in subjects and semester exams. CSE in Saveetha School of Engineering is a decent branch if you are interested in computer languages and coding. The staffs of SSE are friendly with the students, making their four years of engineering pass like an exciting ride. The placements of both institutes under Saveetha University are common for most companies. So, there is a lot of competition in it among students. 60-70% of students in SSE are from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. So, students from other states don’t feel cornered in the institute. Therefore, CSE at Saveetha University is a good option for students, marked with exciting college life.Read more

Ques. How good is Saveetha University regarding placements and salary packages?

● Top Answer By Keshav Jindal on 01 Jun 21

Ans. Saveetha University has other schools. It has two engineering colleges, a medical college, dental college, management school, etc. Saveetha Engineering College is affiliated with Anna University. The college has a good infrastructure. The faculty team is very understanding, the atmosphere is strict and the college has good transport facilities in and around campus.  Whereas Saveeta School of Engineering is a private college affiliated with Saveeta University. You will find a lot of Andra students on campus. The college is strict and has good facilities like classes with smart boards, wifi, etc.  Here’s a brief overview of the two institutes.
