Remarks :

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Ans. Some of my friends studied at Madras University. According to them, it is really good and you can make use of some of the following tips after you join Madras University. Utilize the library at the university to the fullest. It is one of the largest in Chennai and contains a wide range of books. Take class notes seriously. It is better to take them yourself during the lectures. The exam papers will be set by your own professors and thus it is important Do all the assignments on time and make an effort to present yourself in front of the professors. Ques. How do I get the transcripts from University of Madras if I live abroad?

Ans. You should use some service provider such as “Mail Transcripts” or “Clear Transcripts” for the same. These services are online and quite seamless with a very simple process. Fill the online application in the portal and submit the required fee. Send your original documents to the university. Here the service provider will come in handy as they will do the talking with the university on your behalf. You have to submit the notarized documents to the service provider after they come up with a solution. Then you will get your transcripts at your doorstep without much fuss. They will send your transcript to WES/IQAS without needing your intervention. You can do all this work by yourself or through some of your acquaintances as well but it will take your precious time on unnecessary work.Read more

Ans. No, you should not opt for the distance MBA course as you need to work first, clear all the loan dues, and gain experience before going for anything else. As the distance learning courses don’t add any value to your resume and while on other hand executive MBA helps you increase your package and to also enhance your skill set. You need this certificate as proof of completion of 12th or graduation from any other state. It will be helpful in joining an affiliated college at the University of Madras. For the eligibility certificate, you can visit the university website and download the form from the website, or can even visit the campus to take the form. Hi Rajalakshmi, sorry but TANCET is mandatory to get admission in MBA. However, you may apply for admission through management quota.

Hi Silviya, candidates applying for this course must have passed graduation in relevant stream to be eligible for this course. However, admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in entrance exam conducted by the university.

Hi Divya, yes, you can apply for another PG course. However, this university does not offers any psychology course for PG degree. Only M.Phil in Psychology is offered in the university.
