Tripura University BBA Eligibility Criteria

One of the eligibility criteria to avail admission to the BBA course is that the candidate must be well versed in English as the medium of instruction is English because of which the Hindi medium students cannot enroll in the BBA course at Tripura University.
The candidate should have passed 12th Class in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board of education. However, 5% relaxation of marks is given in case the student belongs to ST/SC/OBC category.

Tripura University BBA Admission 2023

Tripura University offers a full-time BBA program in three specializations – BBA (Finance), BBA (Marketing), and BBA (Human Resource Management). The duration is of 3 years which is further divided into six semesters.

The University offers 66 seats (60: general, and 6: Economically Weaker Sections) in total as of academic session 2023.

Tripura University Selection Criteria

Selection for BBA shall be made through an admission test which will be conducted by the Selection Committee of the Tripura University.
Selected candidates must secure admission by paying the requisite fee of the BBA course along with necessary documents within the prescribed time.

Tripura University BBA Entrance Exam

Tripura University conducts Common University Entrance Test for selection for the BBA course which is strictly based on CUET.
While filling the application form, the candidates must choose one centre (nearest destination) from the 12 CUET centres (6: local, and 6: out-stationed)
Candidates must appear for the entrance exam as per the schedule.
Before appearing in the CUET, the candidates must download the 'Acknowledgement Form’.
The maximum marks of the Entrance Test shall be 100 marks. The duration of CUET is 2 hours.
The format of the question paper is such that there are 50 MCQ questions of 2 marks. Each question will be from a specific subject.
Candidates must mark the correct answers in the OMR sheet provided to them.
However, there is a negative marking of 0.5 (1/4th) marks in case of a wrong answer.
If two or more candidates get an equal score in CUET then, the final result depends on the following.

CGPA of the last qualifying exam.
Preference will be given to the student who has the current year of passing

Tripura University BBA: How to Apply?

An Indian applicant must select the regular mode option available on the admission portal for filing up the form. There is a separate admission form for international students.
Each candidate can apply for a maximum of three and a minimum of one program. However, the candidates must register separately for each course.
Students can apply only via online mode. Each applicant must fill the application form available at the official website https://tripurauniv.ac.in/Page/Admission

Application Process

Step 1: The candidates must register using their active email id. The initial login password will be sent to the registered e-mail id and mobile number.
Step 2: The registered user can log in by entering their appropriate Login ID and Password. Fill the Admission Form after successful login
Step 3: Read all the instructions carefully, and tick them to proceed further.
Step 4: Enter basic details such as official name, gender, course, date of birth, and qualifications.
Step 5: Pay the application fees as per your category.
Step 6: Lastly, candidates will get a link on their registered e-mail id with the Application Number and Password. Apart from this, the same will be sent to the candidate's registered mobile number.

Ans. To get a valid BBA degree from Tripura University, the candidate must successfully enrol himself/herself in the BBA course. Afterward, the students must perform well in the Internal Assessment. To clarify, the marks will be awarded based on student’s behaviour, class attendance, class test performance (Written/Viva/ Assignments). Lastly, the students must pass the “Semester End Examination”. Each student shall have to secure pass marks (40) in every paper of the course separately. Thus, the students will get a BBA degree from Tripura University after the completion of course credits.
