Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) offers a wide variety of professional courses like B.Tech, MBA, MCA, etc. During AMU Placements 2022, 48 students were placed from the MCA & Engineering stream. These students were placed in the IT companies. Earlier, three B.Tech studente were placed in Climber Knowldge & Career with a package of INR 4.50 LPA. Some of the top recruiters inclided Cognizant, KiwiTech, LTI Spark etc.

The institute conducted its placement drive for the batch 2021 and a total of 1228 students were placed. The median CTC stood at INR 8 LPA.

The university is known for its decent placement record with the Average CTC of the B.Tech course is INR 4.5 LPA AND the Maximum CTC is INR 6.5 LPA.

During the recent online recruitment drive, over 69 students received job offers while 142 were given internship opportunities by Marque Impex, Cordis Technology, EFS Facilities Service Pvt. Ltd, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Solaris, Genpact, Allana Sons Pvt Ltd, Soft nice, Tacenda Publication LLP, Hamari Pahchan NGO, Swami Shiksha Charitable Trust, Brdgespan and Unschool, and etc.

Over 27 students who had been pursuing a Diploma in Engineering course in different streams had been hired by Wind west Telecoms, Banco India Pvt Ltd, and ZFPN Constructions.

In September 2020, the institute had conducted its first online job fair due to the pandemic. Wherein, 23 firms took part, over 180 job offers had been provided to the students from different courses. The highest CTC stood at INR. 10 LPA, while the average CTC stood at INR. 6 LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

There are no opportunities for internships in B.Sc. courses such as physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany. However, there are good opportunities for Biochemistry students. There are many projects for Biochemistry and biotechnology students.

Internships Opportunities:

Till now I only got a scholarship called NSP (National Scholarship Portal) every year. But our college also gives a scholarship called SSGSA (Sir Syed Global Scholarship Award) to study abroad. And those who crack this scholarship also get paid their 5 Application forms from Foreign Universities, and pay the fee for IELTS, TOEFL and GRE.

As it's a new course, there is no campus placements as of now. But they do provide a list of companies to which students can apply. Although regardless of not having campus placements all you need is a good portfolio that will help you, in getting your dream job.

Internships Opportunities:

It is a new course which started 4 years back approx. in this university and thus it does not provide any internship from the college to the students. But with a good portfolio with the work they have done in college could land good internships.

Placement Experience:

From 6 to 7-semester students become eligible for campus placement there are lots of companies visiting here like Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, engineers limited and lots of companies visiting here I don't remember the name right now but placement here is good. The highest package is 1.2 or 1.3 crore is something a student from computer engineering. An average of 65 students is placed. If we talk about low placement percentage then the reason is lots of students opt for higher studies even after placements because of a good education system.

From the sixth semester students become eligible for campus placements there are lots of companies visited today such as Amazon, Flipkart, ITC, etc. Approximately 20% of students get placements. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester onwards. Wipro hires students through the WILP program. The package ranges from 3-4.5 LPA. Students with good academic records are considered first. The placement Percentage varies from year to year. My plan is to pursue my master's in Data Science.
