Course Details

BHU BAMS admission 2024 is based on NEET scores followed by counselling. NEET 2024 exam will be held on May 05, 2024. Registrations for the NEET 2024 examination will begin soon on the official website @neet.nta.ac.in. The final admission will be done through counselling sessions by the Institute of Medical Science (IMS), BHU. BHU BAMS Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates can apply for the BAMS course in BHU only if they fulfill the eligibility criteria. the eligibility criteria are

  • The candidates must pass intermediate science /Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates)

BHU BAMS Admission Criteria

The candidates for the four years full-time BHU BAMS program will be selected based on their performance in the NEET examination.

BHU BAMS Nursing Counselling Process

The counseling process is conducted by the Institute of Medical Science (IMS), BHU. All the candidates who have secured the cut off marks of the National level examination are invited to the counseling process. The candidates must carry the original copy of the relevant documents, failing which can lead to rejection from admission.

The aspirants can fill in the application form for the Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in the Banaras Hindu University through the Online mode. The candidates must follow the below steps while filling up the application form. 

  • Visit the official website of BHU (www.bhuonline.in).
  • Candidates will need to register themselves with a valid Email Id and phone number. All the future communications regarding admission will be done to the registered email ID
  • Selecting the course BAMS by checking the eligibility criteria
  • Once the course is selected, the application form will appear on the screen. Fill it with academic details, correspondence address, and parent details. Upload the required documents such as photographs and signature

  • The Banaras Hindu University provides Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in the Department of Dravyaguna.

Ques. What is the registration fee for BHU BAMS admission?

Ans. The candidates must pay the registration fee of INR 1000 for General candidates, and INR 750 for SC, ST, OBC candidates, during the admission process. The registration fee must be paid through Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card.

Ques. Is there any reservation criteria for BHU BAMS admission?

Ans. The Reservation is done following the rules and regulations of the Government of India. Only 3 % of the total seat available is reserved for Physically challenged candidates.

Ques. What are the documents needed during BHU BAMS admission?

Ans. The Documents required during the admission process are NEET documents, Date of birth certificate, High school certificate,10 + 2 / Intermediate certificate, 10 + 2/ Intermediate mark sheet, Caste certificate (If applicable), OBC category non-creamy layer certificate, Physically Challenged (PC) certificate (If applicable), Transfer certificate, Migration certificate, Character certificate.
