Master of Computer Applications [MCA] From BHU, Varanasi

BHU MCA admission 2024 will be based on scores obtained in the CUET PG examination followed by counselling conducted by the university. CUET PG 2024 registrations are open now and the last date to apply has been extended to February 07, 2024. Interested candidates can register online on the official website @pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. BHU MCA Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for MCA admission at BHU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree at 10+2+3 pattern with Mathematics as one of its subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised Board of University. 
• It should include all subjects of the Degree except those where only pass marks are required and do not contribute to the total in the final Marksheet. It may be either at Intermediate or 10+2 or Bachelor’ Degree or any equivalent examination.

BHU MCA Admission Criteria

Admission to MCA will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) conducted by NTA. Candidates must clear the CUET PG exam in order to get admission to MCA at BHU. The final selection will be based on the merit list released by the university on the basis of CUET PG marks.

• Visit the official website - cuet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the link that reads, 'Registration for CUET (PG).'
• Register yourself and then login using your credentials.
• Fill in the application form, upload the documents
• Pay the application fees and submit the form
• Download and print a copy for future references.

Documents Required:

• Original Marksheet of 10th and 12th examination from a recognized board or university
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized board or university
• Migration certificate, if passed from any university except BHU
• Reservation certificate (if any)
• Admit card of the entrance exam

• Certificate of being the son or daughter of any BHU current or retired employee

BHU MCA Placement

Placement opportunities of BHU are not so good but the foreign language departments conduct placements every year. As it is a University, it has to focus on every Department. Also, the other departments are not able to enjoy such facilities. Almost 15 percent of the students get placed. 

As placements and jobs are concerned our university does not provide that much opportunity. They are focused on training students so that students are able to grab jobs when they pass out from college. 

Only few placements happen every year with the maximum package of 2 Lakhs. For MCA Course, Many Companies are concerned as students of MCA are in great demand. Many private and public sector organisations regularly visit for campus Placements for MCA.
