Bundelkhand University Admission 2020: UG, PG, Ph.D., Last date, Application form

BU Jhansi offers B.Tech, B.Pharm, BHMCT & B.Arch programs in various disciplines. 10+2 with PCM/B passed candidates are eligible to apply. Admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU.

Key Points:

• NATA qualified candidates are also eligible to apply for B.Arch program.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

The admission for B.Com, B.A and B.Sc. courses are done on the basis of Direct Admission. However, admission for B.Sc. (Agricultural Science) is done on the basis of score in the University entrance test.

LL.B & BA-LL.B admission is also granted through University-Based entrance. The admission to B.Ed course will depend on candidates’ performance in the State-Level entrance as per NCTE norms.

University-Based Entrance Test: Entrance Test for all the courses will be conducted at the Jhansi Center of Bundelkhand University. The paper will consist of 100 questions with two sections of 50 questions each.

Bundelkhand University offers MBA, MCA & M.Pharm in various discipline at PG level. MBA & MCA admission is offered on the basis of marks in the entrance conducted by UPTU while for M.Pharm, the candidates have to qualify in the University Level Entrance.

Note: Preference will be given to GPAT or GATE qualified candidates at the time of admission to M.Pharm program.

Bundelkhand University also offers M.Sc, M.Ed and MSW programs in various disciplines. Merit-Based admission is offered for M.Sc (Geology & Home Science) while for other streams, students have to appear in the entrance test conducted by the university.

The basic eligibility for all the courses is a pass in the relevant Graduation degree from a recognized university. M.Ed & MSW admissions are offered on the basis of score in the written test.

Bundelkhand University offers M.Com, MAE, MHM, MBE, MFA, LL.M and MA in various specializations at PG level. Students who hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Except for MFC, MASRD & LL.M programs for which admission is offered on the basis of entrance score, the admission to all the PG programs is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Bundelkhand University offers Ph.D. in 39 specializations. The admission is accepted on the basis of score in Common Eligibility Test (CET) which is generally conducted in August every year. while the application process starts from June every year. The candidates must hold a post-graduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Key Points:

• The syllabus for the CET is same as prescribed for NET/JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR.
• A few categories of candidates will be exempted from the entrance test for admission in Ph.D. Such categories include Regular teachers of the university, International Students, UGC/CSIR/ICAR/NET qualified and candidates scored 75% or above in GATE.
• Serving commissioned officer of Army, Navy and Air Force with minimum 15 years if service applying for Ph.D. in Defence and Strategic Studies / Military Science will also be exempted from the entrance test.
• Exempted candidates will be given preference over the candidates qualifying through the entrance test.
