- I have chosen this course because I want to become a skilled mechanical engineer and work for a reputable organization.
- Internship is provided by the college, but we get the opportunity to pursue it through company visits here, as they offer internships in their organization. This is a good learning experience and also fun, with a stipend amount of around 5000.
- Still, there is no placement yet, but we are hopeful that there will be a good placement.
- Almost all students who passed the university exam received a good score, qualifying them for the scholarship.
- Actually, this university is designed for physically handicapped students; however, as an extension, normal students can also receive an education here.
- Due to the academic excellence of DSMU, a large number of outstation students wish to be part of its community.
- My college is located in a good area; it is located in the capital, so everything is easily accessible, such as exams, city travels, and good government job coaching.
Dislike
- The placement scenario is average here. The college claims that its placement rate is above 70%, but I dont think so. It would be around 50% only. A few companies do visit here such as Infogain, iGate, etc. The average package is around 3 LPA.
- Fee policies require a 50% compulsory payment before the 1st semester. If you do not pay the fee on time, a late fee penalty will be imposed, and you will not be allowed to take the exam

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement and they have to do internships and other knowledge also. There are many companies visiting every year like TCS, Infosys, etc. About 70-80% of students get placed every year. I want to get a good placement in a good organization.
Remarks:
The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech mechanical branch is 70+% in PCM. The application forms can be found on the AKTU official website. The reservation benefits are not availed by me. Yes, the admission process must be online.
Placement Experience:
Last 2 semesters of every course students are considered eligible here. Every company comes here like amazon, TCS and Flipkart etc with a package of 3 to 15 lakhs per annum. Almost 99% gets placements here but many of them drop it due to lower package.

The admission process at Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University is very simple. The first step is to submit the online application. Application fees can be paid online or offline. The second step is Entrance Exam. The third step is the merit list. University prepares a merit list for the entrance exam students, which can be seen on the university website. The selected students have to go through the counselling process. The schedule will be available on the university website. Then admission after selection in counselling. The eligibility for BBA is 45% in the 12th class.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I opt for this course due to well infrastructure of this university and the faculty members are quite good, especially Dr Archana Awasthi maam. Faculty members are very well and curriculum activities. The student ratio is not so good, with boys dominant over girls

Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placements at the end of 3rd year. The placements were quite good this year and the average package was almost 200000. Many companies like Byjus and Amazon visited but the students they employed were mostly from MBA and Btech CS branches. Around 30% of students got placed.
Remarks:
The admission process was quite smooth and easy for every student there. Students can take admission through AKTU counseling or directly on the basis of JEE mains score and marks. There are reserved seats for the disabled mainly

Students become eligible for the placement in their 3rd year of the course. The average package made was 3.5 lac and the highest was 10 lac. Companies like Michelin, upgrade, byjus, Amazon, etc. Visit us. Although the placement percentage is low around 30%, if you work hard, there are very good chances for you to get the placements. My plans are basically to work hard to get the placement and if not, try for a government job.
Remarks:
To be eligible for this course you need to be a 12th pass out and have a valid JEE mains score. Cut off the rank for the CS branch was 3.7 lacs And for ECE was 8 lacs. The admission process was very smooth and easy. The college takes admission through Jee mains and also directly
