IIIT Allahabad Admissions 

  • Selection to the B.Tech, B.Tech+MBA, B.Tech+M.Tech course at IIT, Allahabad will be through JEE Main.
  • Candidates for admission in the M.Tech, M.Tech+Ph.D course will be selected based on their GATE scores.
  • The selection for the MBA course depends on 60% on the score in CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT, etc examination and 40% on personal interview.
  • For the Ph.D. course at IIT, Allahabad the selection is based on marks in qualifying examination i.e. score in the master's degree and personal interview. Though preference will be given to candidates with high GATE/CSIR NET/UGC NET scores.

How to Apply?

For B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech/MBA:

  • Candidates must apply for and attend the JEE main examination.
  • Based on the result of the entrance exam, candidates will be allotted seats to IIIT Allahabad based on counseling.
  • Selected candidates will need to submit the required documents at the time of admission.

For M.Tech, Integrated Ph.D.:

For MBA:

  • Candidates must attend one of the entrance exams like CAT/XAT/GMAT, etc.
  • Candidates must apply using the online admission portal.
  • Register by filling in the necessary details.
  • Fill in the other required details and pay the application fee of INR 1200 to finish the application form process.
  • The applicant then will be screened based on their score in the entrance exam and selected applicants will be called for an interview, which is the last step of the application.

For Ph.D.:

  • Aspirants need to visit the college website and apply through the link provided there.
  • Register by putting in the asked details.
  • Fill in the other required details and pay the application fee of INR1700/- to finish the application form process.
  • Similarly to the MBA application process applicants then will be screened and then will be called for an interview, which is the last step of the application.

IIIT Allahabad Results

The college admits students to various courses on the basis of various national level examinations such as CAT, GATE and JEE Mains. The students have to clear a certain cutoff to get admission to IIIT Allahabad.

How to check Results?

  • Visit the official sites of the examinations.
  • Check their respective score and the seats will be allotted on the basis of their marks.
  • They should download their scorecard as if selected they will be called for further counselling by their respective institutes.
  • They can check the cut-off of previous years to get an idea of the scores required.

However for Ph.D admissions, students have to apply online through the college’s PhD Admissions portal. If selected the result will be declared on their site and the list of shortlisted candidates for interviews will also be made available.
