To apply to htis course and want to take admission in this college one must have a background of computer science in graduation. like bsc in computer science and bca. A national level entrance exam is conducted by the NITs exam name NIMCET which happens every year in month of june or july.A month before exam the date for form filling comes in its website. The form is of around 2000 rupees.To take admission in MNNIT one must secure good AIR around 400 something .Yes it provide reservation to ews ,obc,sc ,st people. This college is best faculty is best and placement is also good as compare to other NITs.

Admission:

You have to appear for CAT but from 2022 onwards the institute is accepting the scorecards of CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, etc. Apart from that you have to apply separately for the institute through the admission portal of the MNNIT website, shortlisting will be done through the scores of the entrance exams and your graduation percentage. Since the institute is completely operated by the government only therefore it strictly follows and applies the reservation policy as per the constitution. You have to appear for GD and PI after getting shortlisted in the first round.

A glimpse of my college

Admission:

The admission process of my batch was done online, because of the Covid situation. The process was quite smooth. We were asked to submit certain documents on the college website. The documents included a birth certificate, mark sheets of 10th and 12th, a bonafides certificate, a character certificate, etc. There was an online verification of documents also done through video call after submitting the documents. The application form will be available on the official site of the college. The eligibility to admit to the college for the branch cse was to score above 2340/2400 in SAT 2 for my batch. The only improvement I would recommend is that the website where all the admission takes place can be improved as some of the time it does not work due to huge traffic. But overall the process was very convenient.
