Here’s mentioning some facts about both these colleges I got to know online: The faculty of both colleges are really good. They are highly experienced and extremely cooperative. Subjects like statistics, geology, zoology, astronomy are considered good by students at University of Lucknow. Both have a strong alumni network. Many consider Allahabad University better than Lucknow University due to its central status. But after considering everything, you need to keep one thing in mind that the institution is not the major factor for your success. Ans. The syllabus for the entrance exam in Lucknow University for B.Sc. Maths is: The entrance test will consist of 100 objective-type questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The marking Pattern for each question will be of 4 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 mark will be awarded for each unattempted question. In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like UP board, ISC, and CBSE. B.Sc. (Mathematics Group) questions will be asked from - Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics. In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects chemistry, physics, and maths, that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like State Board, ISC, and CBSE. For General and Other Backward Classes, you must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.Read more

Ans. Since Lucknow University has started conducting entrance exams in MCQ form for Undergraduate and in descriptive form for Postgraduate level. Previous year’s papers are not available in the market and the ones available are not the original. They are based on memory or model paper type. To prepare for the UG level, revise the 10+2 level syllabus of the concerned course and for the PG level revise UG notes. It would be enough to score well in the exam.Read more

Ans. Allahabad University is surely not a wise choice for LLB. One of my friends is pursuing his LLB degree from Allahabad University. He says he is regretting this decision of choosing it. Currently, the LLB faculty is worse and things like the moot court, which is very important for an LLB student, is not yet made. So I suggest you go to Lucknow university if you want to pursue LLB.Read more

Ans. After doing some research online, I found out to get admission at Lucknow University you have to go through some steps. Filling up the admission form with all the details is the first thing to do. The form is available from January to February. After the submission of the form the authorities will provide you with the updates of the entrance exam. The admit cards will then be released on the official website. After qualifying the exam, your marks will be put up in the merit list. There will be a cut off for every course. If you satisfy the cut off you can get admission in the college of your preference. To be a part of Lucknow university you must score well in the exam. And after taking admission attend your classes, study hard and give the exams offered by the university both internal and external.Read more
