IIM Kashipur Sponsored Scholarships 

IIM Kashipur offers Need cum Merit- Based Financial Assistance for meritorious students from 1st and 2nd year students pursuing degree programs such as MBA. 

Apart from Need cum Merit-Based financial assistance, IIM Kashipur also offers Need Based and Merit Based Scholarships for students pursuing MBA Analytics.

  • Need cum Merit-Based Financial Assistance  

  • IIM Kashipur provides a full waiver of tuition fees for up to 23 students from first year batch and 23 students from second year batch. Hence, up to 46 students from first and second year can avail full waiver of tuition fee in an academic year.
  • Students with gross family income not exceeding INR 5,00,000 are eligible to access need cum merit based scholarships in IIM Kashipur. 
  • The overall division of 23 students from each year and the basis of providing scholarship is decided as per the table:-

  • Financial Assistance for PhD students

  • There are special fellowship allowances for students pursuing PhD worth INR 30,000/- to INR 35,000/- per month. A Contingency grant of INR 1.25 Lacs and a Conference grant of INR 3 Lacs is also given to students.

Scholarships Offered by the Government of India

  • Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) of Top Class Education for SC Students - Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment 
  • Central Sector Scholarship Scheme provides financial support to the meritorious students who belong to Scheduled Castes and are willing to pursue degree programs. 
  • Students whose annual family income is not exceeding INR 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for CSS Scholarships at IIM Kashipur.
  • The Scholarship Amount covers major finances like tuition fees, non refundable charges, lodging & boarding charges, books & stationery charges and cost of IT equipment for the first year.
  • Eligible students can apply through NSP Portal i.e. https://scholarships.gov.in when the scholarships are being activated.

  • National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students Scholarship - Ministry of Tribal Affairs. 
  • Formally known as the Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribe Students, the scholarships provide financial aid to ST students.
  • Students willing to pursue higher degree courses like MPhil, Ph. D or integrated M.Phil + Ph. D qualify to avail the National Fellowship Scholarships. 
  • Students must possess a minimum 55% marks at PG level from a recognised university to be eligible for National Fellowship Scholarships. Students shall be selected on a merit-basis. 
  • There is no specific income criteria for students to be eligible under the National Fellowship Programmes. 
  • The maximum age to qualify for National Fellowship Scholarships should be 36 years, as on the first day of July of the relevant year of the award of scholarship.

  • Merit-cum-means based Scholarship Scheme belonging to the Minority Communities - Ministry of Minority Affairs. 
  • The Merit-cum means based Scholarships provide financial support to poor yet meritorious students belonging to minority communities.
  • Students with good academic records and willing to pursue professional and technical courses are eligible to apply for Merit-cum-means based Scholarship.
  • Students should possess an aggregate of more than 50% marks (or equivalent grade in the previous final examination). 
  • The annual income of a student’s parents/guardians from all sources should not exceed INR 2.50 lakhs.
  • Students from minorities sections are eligible to apply for IIM Kashipur Scholarships under Minorities categories which include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Zoroastrians (Parsis) under Section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.
