- My branch, ECE, has the best faculty members in the college, the best lab. All other branches are also good, but ECE is the best.
- The internship in this college is very good. The college provides internships to all students in many companies like Flipkart, Amazon, TCS, and Infosys. Additionally, the placement rate of our college is excellent, ranging from 3L to 4L.
- It is really a good thing for the students of our university because within a month, a full campus event is organized by our university.
- Anyone can apply for the scholarship. There are Swami Vivekananda scholarships available. The campus recruitment strategy is awesome, with about 100% placements for computer science engineering.
- In Aliah University, there are two campuses. The first one is located in Park Circus, Kolkata, which is for Arts. The second one is in Newtown, and it is for B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, and all PG courses.
- The facilities of the hostel are good because, as you can see, in government-sponsored colleges, they have a hostel with four-star hotel facilities.
- The infrastructure based on the outlook of the college is really impressive. The faculty of many departments are also very good.
Dislike
- A few months ago, BMW came for an internship, but no one was selected for it.
- The Nursing department also provides internships and placements, but some companies like Amazon and Tata also offer placements to the students.
- The fees are such a small amount that it is helpful to poor students who cant afford high fees. Therefore, it is very beneficial for poor students. Additionally, different types of scholarships are provided to students, such as SVMCM, Aikshree, and others.
- There is a certain dress code based on cultural points of view. Maybe they will not say anything to your face.

Placement Experience:
At Aliah University, you are eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester. There are many companies that come here like TCS, Capgemini, and some other MNC companies. On our campus, the highest package offered to a girl from B tech CSE which is around 50 LPA. Around 50-70% get placed every year. If you have the required skills then there is a higher chance that you get placed in campus placement. My plan after getting this degree is to do MCA from Nits by clearing the NIMCET exam.
Remarks:
If Someone wants to get admission to B tech they have two choices of entrance exams. AUAT (Aliah University Admission Test ) and WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance examination). And admission to other UG courses like BCA, Bsc is done on the basis of the AUAT exam (100 marks ). The Rank needed for the BCA course at Aliah University that is you have to get under 300 rank in AUAT for getting this course in Aliah University.
Placement Experience:
After the sixth semester student becomes eligible for campus placements. Some big companies like Wipro, Infosys, pinnacle etc. Visited. 70% of students get a place from campus placements. With an offer letter average of 4 lahks.
Remarks:
You can take admission by some mode WBJEE, Lateral and AUAT. By exam the admission process is started first you have to fill out the exam from then if you score in the exam you are selected. After that admission starts in offline mode.
Placement Experience:
Compared to any other courses taught by the university, placement is higher for computer science engineering. Many software companies like Webel, Wipro, TCS, HIDCO, and Amazon offer job placement. The average package offered is 8lkh and the maximum is 1.2cr.

Students can get admission to this college through WBJEE, Lateral entry and also through the exam conducted by the university itself. The form of exam which is conducted by the university is available on its website.

From the 6th semester, a student will eligible for campus placement. Name of the most frequent companies is Tata Motors, L&T, Mahendra, etc. The highest package of last year is 18 lac and the average package is 3 lac. The percentage of students who get placed through campus placement is 78 percent. I shall go for higher studies.

For admission to this college, you have to clear its admission test AUAT and you have to pass 12th at least 45% number from the science stream. you can find all admission-related details on the official website - aliah.ac.in. There are many more companies like TCS, Amazon, Byjus, Tata Motors, Capgemini, etc. The highest package of the past year from Byjus is 36 lac. and the average package is 4 .6 lacs. 85% of students are placed in college placement. I would go for higher studies.

I am Shuvam Ghosh a B.tech electronics and communication student from ALIAH UNIVERSITY. This University is in West Bengal, Kolkata, Newtown. It is an autonomous University. This college has its own admission test which is AUAT. And it also takes students from the WBJEE exam. It is a special college for Minorities and also not minorities are also allowed. Eligibility of this course is you have to crack its admission test AUAT and also pass 12th from the science stream and it also takes students from the WBJEE exam.
