I chose this course to help my family and neighboring farmers with my best knowledge.
Like Flipkart, our university also provides a summer internship programme in various fields. Our faculty, placement, and job facilities are very good. Just like Flipkart, our university also welcomes companies to offer well-paid internship programmes.
Every student has this thought of getting placed in a good organization and working with a good salary.
There is a university scholarship for the postgraduate students who score the highest in the postgraduate entrance.
An annual fest called Naihrit is organized every year in January-February, and the freshers welcome program, known as Nabarun, is also organized to welcome undergraduate juniors in our university. In addition, a cricket and football tournament are also organized in the college.
Good facility with a very good structure of study and examination methods. Professors are very good in their teaching techniques with their diverse knowledge; they always guide us towards brightness.
The best university award should be given. It is too much adorable and caring. Once you leave this university, you will always miss the way you get treated by your seniors, teachers, and juniors. There is a very good cooperative manner.

Dislike

After graduation, there are no specific job opportunities directly available, but you can take job exams for AFO and ADA.
As the fees are lower, I dont think any kind of loans is needed for undergraduate students.
Three beds and three table-chairs are the only things provided in a room. The meal quality is very low and the menu here is very disappointing. The hostel is easily affordable and the registration process is displayed on the website bckv.edu.in. No, I havent rented any PG

Course Curriculum Overview:

I HAD AN INTEREST TO ESTABLISH MY CAREER IN BIO SCIENCE STREAM, AND AGRICULTURE IS A VERY INTERESTING COURSE AND BACKBONE OF THE SOCIETY, THATS WHY I OPT FOR THIS IF WE CALCULATE ROUGHLY, ALMOST 150 STUDENTS IN OUR 1ST YEAR, AND IN EACH DEPARTMENT, ON AN AVERAGE 7-8 PROFESSORS ARE THERE PROFESSORS ARE VERY TALENTED AND VERY HELPFUL, YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR TEACHING METHODS, THERE ARE SOME LEGENDARY TEACHERS IN BCKV LIKKE PROF. B C PARTA SIR (AGRONOMY) AND OTHERS. THERE ARE 2 SEMESTERS EACH YEAR, AFTER COMPLETION OF ALMOST90% OF THE SYLLABUS, MID TERM EXAMS OUT OF 20 MARKS ARE DONE, AFTER THAT , END TERM EXAM OUT OF 50 MARKS, AND LATER ON, PRACTICAL AND VIVA OUT OF 20 MARKS ARE BEING DONE. TOTAL OF 100 MARKS PER SUBJECT, U HAVE TO SCORE AT LEAAT 55 MARKS TO PASS IF YOU ATTEND LECTURES AND STUDY PROPERLY, AND FOLLOW THE TRENDS OF PREVIOUS YEARS QUESTIONS, IT IS NOT SO DIFFICULT TO PASS, BUT FEW SUBJECTS LIKE PLANT PATHOLOGY OR SOIL SCIENCE NEEDS IN DEPTH UNDERSTANDING.

THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS WHERE YOU CAN APPLY FOR BCKV...ONE IS THROUGH CLASS 12TH BOARDS MARKS, AFTER 12TH RESULT, APPLICATION IS STARTED, AND SPOT COUNSELLING IS DONE AFTER PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST. ANOTHER WAY IS THROUGH ICAR QUOTA, THROUGH WHICH I GOT CHANCE, WHERE U HAVE TO APPEAR IN ICAR ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAM, AND AFTER PUBLICATION OF RESULT, U HAVE TO APPLY FOR COUNSELLING AND CHOICE FILLING...AFTER ALLOTMENT , U HAVE TO BE PRESENT PHYSICALLY AT THE UNIVERSITY FOR OFFLINE VERIFICATION, AND THEN ADMISSION WILL BE COMPLETED.

A UNIQUE WORLD IN MY HAND

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I belong to an agricultural family, so I want to improve my knowledge about the most important thing, agriculture. About 130 students in a year. There are around 500 students in UG and also has PG and Ph.D. students about 200. The university, BCKV is an updated university all over west Bengal, and study has to give in a smart way and also be practical. In one year 2-semester exam was held. The time gap between semesters is 6 months.

Remarks:

Yes, I want a change in the admission process. Students get admission on the basis of their marks in Higher secondary, this is totally wrong. Causes of this, many ideal students don't get an opportunity to take admission. If there is an Exam for admission to this university, this may be a good decision to select good students.

I belong to an agricultural family. I want to research agriculture. So I choose this course. Professors are highly qualified from renowned universities. with 4 exams per year. Almost all students passed. Faculty: student ratio is 1:10

Remarks:

Higher secondary marks are required. Application forms are released online on the university website. SC, ST, OBC EWS reserved seats are available. Application forms were released in the month of April. After then admission through counselling.
