The hostel facilities here are based on which hall you are residing in. If it is the newer ones then every room will be equipped with a study-lamp, night lamp, table, chair and bed. While the older ones have some of these features. The meal quality is decent and has a good menu which is updated every month. The registration process here is a breeze and is very affordable.
There are several fests here like the Annual tech-fest [Aarohan] which is Eastasia's 2nd largest fest, cultural-fest [Restacy], VERVE and many more. The library here is also adequate and approx. all required books are available with long reading hours. The classrooms are well-equipped with all amenities like CCTV, two blackboards, mic and speakers, A/c for summers, etc. There are three large grounds here which offer a variety of co-curricular activities like Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, volleyball,table-tennis, karate, etc.
Hostel 14 and Hostel 11 ( i.e for first and second years respectively) are very good since they are newly constructed but the third and final year hostels aren't that good but being a government college you won't find hostels better either.
There are approx 20+ clubs in our college. Literary Circle is the oldest and the most elite club of all. The library is newly renovated so it's good. Sports classes are also there for different kinds of sports.

We have 2 annual fests one is aarohan which is a techno fest and another is recstacy which is a cultural fest. There is ac in most of the classrooms and sports are not up to the mark in nit DGP. Also, there are various clubs in nit dgp.
Full-fledged hostels are there with everything you need. Food quality is worst in the first year but amazingly contrasts to upcoming years. Mess quality is just amazing for 2-4th years. The hostel is mandatory for all students so need not do any other complications. But mess fees are high as 17k for 4 months
Recktasy and Aarohan are annual cultural and technical fest conducted every year in March. A hill of books in the Library is there in nitdgp. A 5-floor big building is there for a classroom well equipped with AC, projectors, fans, blackboard, etc. There are many scopes to sports and other extra curricular activities as there are Gymkhana, playgrounds, a lot of badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and respective committees and communities. 15+ clubs are there, go for www.nitdgp.in You will find everything.
We'll have 1 technical fest and 1 culture fest. The Library of our college is good and so many books are available. And we have good classrooms and good infrastructure. In our college, the sport was so good and enjoy it.

SBy - StudentThrough JEE Mains 2022. Counselling is done basically through JoSAA and then vacant seats are filled by CSAB rounds. The cutoff for the general was around 25k for EE. This year, the cutoff decreased as in 2021 it was around 21k.
APBy - Ankit PratapI had given JEE mains and JEE advanced and was able to get an AIR of 37050 [Gen]. Those with reservation benefits can get into this college at a higher rank as well. After the exam, I went through JOSSA counselling program, and after 6 rounds of counselling, I got an NIT Durgapur B.Tech Mechanical engineering.
