The microbiology department is good at Gurudas College, with well-qualified teachers holding Masters' and Ph.D. degrees, and the laboratory technician is also well-trained. Semester examinations are held twice yearly.
The cut-off percentage for admission in B.Sc. Microbiology (Hons) is 60% in the class 12 board examination. Selection is based on interviews with selected candidates. The detail of the application form, fees, and dates are available on the college website.
I have great interest in computers since my childhood, and that's why, I decided to join B. A Computer course, and I have listened that the computer course at bagnan college is very good. That's why I have joined this course at bagnan college.
Bagnan college is a very famous college in our area. So I decided to admit bagnan college. To admit to college they gave me a form to fill out and attached it with the 12th mark sheet and admit card. and need some personal documents like aadhar card and date of birth certificate. the process to admit to bagnan college is very good.
After completing the 4th semester and being admitted in the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, etc. Visited the college. The average package is 2.5 lpa and the highest package is 5-6 LPA. Students get placements only on behave of their skills.
I got the application form from the official website. It was free of cost. There are reservation benefits for the reservation quotas. Nothing to improve, totally easy to understand the process of being admitted to a college or university.
Term exam was very much on time and they usually happened before the main yearly exams though now everything is a semester system. The difficulty was of average though few used to fail a lot the teachers were helpful. The faculty is so nice and also qualified in every sense.
The eligibility of the course was average marks of 60 percent. The application form is available online and it cost around 200 plus as I remember I was a general category student though there were reservation benefits. Yes, it did not support online payment we had to visit the bank and paid the fees.
In talks of the statistics department, the faculty is not quite up to the mark .but every other department has good facilities and specialized faculties. but statistics is a relatively new brunch so they are making progress internal exams are quite easy to pass. but it's hard to carry marks in a semester due to the exhausting marking scheme of University of Calcutta.
I just filled out the form released after the higher secondary examination by college officials. Then just waited for them to publish the merit list. A reservation scholarship is available and it's quite good as there is no restriction on attendance. a playground is quite big.
The student ratio of my department is obnoxiously high. 70 students in 1 class feel like a cow shed and serious steps must be taken in order to reduce the number of students. The faculty of the department is more or less qualified. Nearly every faculty member has completed their P.hd.
The admission is solely based on merit. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS, and are differently-abled. The application form and application fee are available on the college website. The admission process must not be based on merit, and entrance exams must be conducted
All of the professors are good at this college. All of them are well qualified and they have done their PhD from well-known institutes. They teach very well in an interactive way. They are very friendly and they also give guidance about higher studies. There are 2 exams per semester. One is internal and the other is the final semester exam. This college is not an autonomous one but it is under Calcutta university. Internal exams are easy but since it is under CU so final sem exam can be tough, it depends on the university of Calcutta.
Eligibility varies yearly. Above 80% marks on the board is enough to get admission. The application process, and fees, all are given on the official website. One needs to check the website regularly to get informed about the admission process. Semester fees will be somehow reduced for unreserved candidates.
The course curriculum feels pretty much hectic at times to complete core course papers within 6 months, however, the practicals keep me glued to the subject. This provides me with hands-on experience and exploring the world of invisible beings just under 40X or 100X magnification seems pretty amazing to me. The student-teacher relationship is pretty friendly since we can discuss the most basic problems with our teachers. The teaching staff includes professors and associate professors holding a Phd degree, providing us easiest solutions to the most difficult problems. The examinations include only internals before the Semester exams and the syllabus if covered properly is pretty easy to pass. However, I personally feel more examinations on a monthly basis could be conducted.
The admission process is pretty simple, the forms need to be filled out from the college's official website which might charge a minimal amount of around 200-300 INR and the student details need to be filled in. The forms are pretty much available from mid-July onwards. Any class 10+2 pass out with a minimum percentage of around 60% with Science as their subject for class 12 can opt for this course.

The admission process is very simple. Application fees are zero. I filled out the form online and got selected according to my merits score. Here the selection is mainly merit-based no such entrance or anything else. The eligibility is that you have to pass out B.Sc. with 55% marks, that's all. And there is also a reservation system everywhere.
SMBy - Sayantan MajumdarAdmission was based on merit but the higher authority of the university allowed us seats and institutions and we had no choice of changing that or taking admission at the institution/subject of our choice. Seats were also very few in some subjects of our choices.
SCBy - Shuvronil ChoudhuriI am currently studying master's in the department of microbiology in the University of Calcutta(Ballygunge Science College). I have got admitted to this course through the obtained marks in the graduation with the same discipline. This means here selection procedure is through the merit list. And they need a minimum of 55% marks in the previous exam with biology, chemistry, and physics in the higher secondary level and 60% marks as the eligibility. The application form is available on the university website. Students can apply here with the qualifying eligibility. Application fees are waived fully so that is another advantage for the students. After the form fill up the merit list has been
