Remarks :

I have chosen masters in business administration because it is all about industries and business handling. The best thing about our course is we gain knowledge about all the things like what is going on in our economy. I wish that our communication must be very good, either in Hindi or English language. We all know that, in respected industries, English is preferred more and also Hindi. I have not attended many events, so I don't know about them. However, I have attended our fresher's party, which is organised by our seniors. It was great. On the campus, there is a good environment, but theenvironment is not much good outside the campus

Placement Experience :

About 70% of the students from our course got placed mostly in the marketing domain. The average salary package offered in our course is 2.5 LPA. Marketing companies recruit many students. About 80% of the students got internships. Roles like sales, marketing, in human resource for recruitment, team leader and account handling in the finance domain are offered here.

Remarks :

It is known for Good Faculty and good placements. Also, there are a lot of different clubs to participate in. I also got an opportunity to work with a lot of good companies. The environment and academics are good. The college is a little strict but overall it's a good experience.

Placement Experience :

I got job offers from 3 companies and attended more than 10 companies. In campus about 100+ companies come for recruitment.

"All about PES UNIVERSITY"

Remarks :

College administration is working very well in nurturing not only personal with good technical skills but also helping in shaping leaders. Only issue with infected is many times some of the faculty members and HOD are very much judgemental and they won't listen to you and can cut your marks. This sometimes de motivate students a lot. Recruiting more faculty with industry experience helps a lot. Overall I had very wonderful experience in those 4 years.

Admission :

As bangalore is a city where lots of established as well startups are present. Further if you don't get admission in any nit or iit then bangalore is one obvious choice for all engineering students. I got admitted through comedk. But now Pes University takes its own entrance test i.e. Pessat. You can register for Pessat at cost of 1050. Then interview process happens after the exam. Students can also opt for management quota. Students from Karnataka can take admission based on cet merit list.

"B.Design at PES University"

Remarks :

College management is not very good in design, politics is involved. However, facilities are good and peers and campus life is good

Admission :

Entrance exam DAT, after that interview and portfolio review. Selection was told within 1 week and admission process was started after that. Multiple dates to write DAT, however, seats fill in first come first serve basis.Portfolio is must for design interview.

Ques. Which is the best among PESIT SBC & Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in a mechanical engineering (regarding exposure, fests, teaching & placements)?

Ans. Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is better in terms of placements, fests, and overall environment. Here are some of the things that you should consider before choosing any of these two institutes. PESIT is UGC, AACSB, NAAC, and AICTE recognized. DSCE is a private institute recognized by AICTE, UGC, and Grade A accredited by NAAC. DSCE is VTU affiliated, and PESIT is under PES University. The fee and placement statistics for the institute are given below. Ans. Life at any university has its hurdles and it can be uncertain initially. But my cousin, who used to be a student at PES University, told me that it eventually turns out to be one of the most memorable times in one’s life. You will probably be leaving your home for the first time in your life. You will visit your home during vacations and learn to make long-term decisions for yourself. You will end up making friends who will be in your life till long after you graduate and some you will barely remember after completing the first year, if not the first semester. My cousin made a lot of friends but he hardly gets the time to get in touch with them. Life takes us all in different ways. He came across professors who were supportive. He and his classmates also tried to participate in a number of events organized by the university in the first semester.Read more

Ans. Having friends at IEM Kolkata, I can say that this question is similar to the debate between IT and CS. As a student of IEM, you will find the professors striving diligently for you. Growth in IT is determined by two things - how you make the most of the opportunities you are getting and how much effort you are willing to put in. You will get exposure to so many opportunities due to the presence of a number of organizations around you, PESIT would be an efficient choice. My friend got PESIT but did not opt for it, instead, he went for IEM. If he had chosen PESIT, he would have to push himself all the time to achieve his goals.Read more

Ques. Which is better if I am an IS aspirant, mechanical engineering in PES University or IS in RNSIT?

Ans. PES University is an autonomous university. The marking system of the college is good. IS branch in RSIT is good. The college offers 98% placement to its students. The college is affiliated with VDU. The evaluation process of this university is not good. But the college will help you in gaining knowledge. PES university will be good for you if you want to take the mechanical branch. CS and IS students get good placements in the RNSIT college. The highest package has gone to INR 10 LPA in companies like Amazon. The students who do not get placements in the first round are recruited by companies like Accenture and TCS in their mass recruitment drives. The placement statistics of RNSIT college is as follows: Total offers received 707 Overall placement percentage 73% Total companies visited 101 Top recruiters Adobe, Infosys, Accenture, etc. Average CTC INR 2.6 LPA-6.2 LPA. Highest CTC offered INR 19 LPA. The academics, infrastructure, culture, and sports facilities are all good in the college. There is no ragging on the campus. Ques. Which is the best, PES University Ring Road campus or Electronic City campus?

Ans. In my opinion, PES University RR campus is definitely one of the best engineering colleges in Karnataka. This is followed closely by RVCE, BMSCE among others. As far as PES University EC Campus is concerned, this is a sister institution that has been built many years down the line. If you are concerned about placements, let me tell you that both the campuses would be sharing these and the rest would be quite different. But, the PES RR campus also has a better peer group. This is because it is a higher-ranked campus with a much larger alumni base. Moreover, the Ring Road campus also has quite a few advantages, location-wise, transport wise and even the faculty which seems to be slightly better. Thus, the student crowd you will get here is better since they have higher academic credentials. PES is a good brand and in either case, it will definitely try to maintain its standards for the Electronic City campus as well.Read more
